Emma.

It's getting down to the final moments. We have a week left of school, and then I leave. I don't know why, but I have a feeling this week is going to be a crazy one. We have our senior trip this week, and then we have our big performance. Then it's graduation. I'm trying to just focus on everything that's going on, but I can't. The only thing I can focus on is last night...

I wasn't expecting that to happen, but it did, and I don't regret it. I felt amazing—it felt right. I don't know what any of this means. It definitely just increased my feelings for Luke, but we never talked about it. It wasn't awkward afterward. Nothing about it was awkward or wrong. I guess that's what happens when you're in love.

I finish getting ready for school and I walk downstairs to see my family all in the kitchen. "Good morning" Dad said.

"Morning, sissy" My siblings said.

"Good morning loves" I said, kissing my little siblings on the cheek.

"Last week of school, how do you feel?" Dad said.

"How am I supposed to feel?" I said.

"You're allowed to feel however you want" he said. Hmmm, if only that applied to this move too. I go to the fridge, grab a drink, and then grab my car keys.

"Something about you is different today" my mom said, and I froze. Why does she always know when something is up?

"Like what?" I said.

"I don't know...never mind. Have a good day at school" She said staring at me.

She doesn't know, does she? There's no way she could. You're just overthinking, Emma. I just give a smile and then I wave bye. The last thing my mom needs to know right now is what happened last night.

I leave the house, get into my car, and drive to school. When I arrive, I park in my usual spot and see Michael standing by his car smoking. I get out and walk over to him, and he smiles.

"Still killing your lungs, I see" I said.

"It's called relieving stress" He said.

"Hmm, sure" I said. He threw it on the ground, and then we both started walking up to the school.

"So, I heard you and Luke stayed after we all left last night" He said.

"Yeah...so?" I said.

"What happened?" He said.

"Nothing happened" I said.

"Oh please" He said, knowing I was lying.

"Nothing happened. We just talked, and yeah..." I said, getting awkward now. I looked over and saw Rosa and felt relief. "Look, there's Rosa!" I said, trying to change the subject.

"Yes, let's get Rosa involved" Michael said, and I slapped my hand against my forehead. "Rosa! Rosa, come here" Michael started yelling, and Rosa came over to us.

"Hey, guys" She said.

"Did you know Emma and Luke stayed together at the gazebo" Michael said.
