First of all, I don't even know if you can fly to China from LAX, so don't come for me. Still hope you enjoy.

Zach's POV

Being in a boy band has its ups and downs.

One of the many ups is getting to basically travel the world.

But it's also one of many downs.

Don't get me wrong,

I love being able to visit new places and meet new people.

But the farther I am from home, the more homesick I get.

And not only that, but I do horribly on planes.

My stomach's weak, and sometimes I get airsick.

But, I guess living a dream isn't all sunshine and rainbows.

General POV

The boys were eagerly packing, more than ready to go to China.

They love traveling places, giving them motivation to get up early and prepare.

Although one thing the boys don't look forward to, is Zach's air sickness.

They don't hate him for it, because they know he can't help it.

In fact, they hate it for him.

Zach can't enjoy one plane or car ride without puking, or just feeling sick in general.

So Jonah always brings multiple grocery bags in his carry on, knowing that two will be full only halfway through the trip.

The boys had finally finished packing at 6:15 in the morning, and got in an Uber to LAX.

"Let's do this", Jonah says energetically.

The boys clap and cheer as the Uber pulls away from the house.

They get there at 7:00, needing to board their plane at 7:30, so they go to a small cafe to grab a donut or croissant and a coffee.

Zach waits for his croissants, but the boys decide to go get their bags checked.

"Hey, were gonna head through security. Catch up in a few. You gonna be okay?", Jonah says in a quick breath.

Zach swallows nervously, but tries to look confident.

"Yeah, I'm good", he says.

Jonah nods and heads off with the rest of the boys.

In reality, Zach didn't really know what he was doing.

He had always been with Jonah when he went to get his tickets, and go through security.

Before, he always traveled with his parents.

Zach really missed his parents, and the farther away he traveled, the more he felt he was distancing himself.

Sometimes he feels guilty, but he knows that it's just homesickness.
