"Bills, bills. Oh ah-bills. Laura come look," Ross says.
I buried my head way deep into the blankets, and groan "can't it wait?"
Ross laughs and sits on the bed. "Cmon? Baby." He picks me up and throws me over his shoulder,
"Ross stop! I'm trying to sleep!" I screamed.
He put me down and looked at me, "Damn are you on your period?" He asked.
"Yes." I muttered at him. "Well come on, get ready." He said.
"Why? For what ?"
"Were gonna go eat with Jenna."
I whipped up, "Who's Jenna?" I asked protectively.
"My friend-"
I glared at him. "Oh and my banker.. I'm kinda running low."
"How do you run low? Your a huge pop star,-"
"Which was like what 7, 10 years ago? I doubt anyone listens to us anymore and I don't get paid for it now."
Ross motioned for me to get ready so I slipped on some jeans and a nice blouse. I applied the usual liner, mascara, lip gloss and lip tint.
I sat in the front seat and looked over at Ross, "this better not be like when Ratliff brought that girl and I got-"
"No no." Ross laughed. "She's married. And a mom so chill out."
I looked at my phone but I can't help panic. "So Jemma is a banker-?"
"JeNNa." He pointed out.
I rolled my eyes. "Alright were here." He said hopping out of the car.
Ross opened my car door and kissed me lightly. "You know I love you." He said, slightly straddling me.
"Yeah yeah," I chuckled.
He grabbed my hand and we walked inside.
A girl, with blonde hair and icy pale blue eyes looked over at us and waved. "Ross! Ross hi!" She said shaking his hand.
"Nice to see you again, Jenna. This is my wife, Laura."
I smiled and shook her hand.
She's flawless, her teeth are so white their almost a light blue. Her hair flowed behind her and.. She's tall.
Of course I'm butt short.
We sat down at the booth and she handed Ross a few papers. "Your account is running low, yes. But I have a good plan to help you out." She explained.
Ross signed a few things then she asked, "So how long have you guys been married?"
"Oh," I laughed, "8 years."
"Awe, going for ten. I've only been three but hopefully I'll go ten times more." She smiled.
Wow... She's really nice, I can't help feel a little jealous. But I know clearly Ross wouldn't pick her.
"Laura, mind giving me your number?" She asked
"No problem." She handed me her phone and I plugged my number in.
Then a message popped up.
• ready to get me out ? I'll be waiting for you in California on Saturday. •
