All I Have - Denki x Reader

I stumble on the table as I take down the blankets on the ceiling. Trying to catch myself my foot slides off. Falling to the floor I sigh, "This is the third time today!" I yell.

Denki laughs and catches me, "you just can't stay on your feet for more than an hour can you?"

I nod and he sets me down. I hear Momo laughing at the doorway, I look to the entrance. I smile and wave to her, she waves back. "So? How is everything?" She asks walking through the doorway.

I frown, "I'm sorry you saw me like that, I won't let it happen again."

She shakes her head, "we all get weak at times, but we get stronger from it. It's fine if you weaken now, I'll be here to talk to! I also had a delay so I'm here for a week or so." She says.

I smile again, "Thanks but it won't be needed, I hope you'll still be able to see your family too."

She nods her head, "Okay, and thanks."

Denki steps in, "do you guys want to go out and get something to eat? I'm starving!" He exaggerates.

I roll my eyes, "you're always hungry, but yes, I'll pay though."

Momo and Denki both nod their heads and we get nice clothes on.

We decided to bring the whole class 1-A out to an expensive restaurant. Momo decided to buy me a dress since I don't own any. She picked out a black short dress. "I don't like it, it doesn't cover my...." I say, my voice trailing off.

"Y/n they're battle scars, they show that you're strong, show them!" she says.

"I know but-" She covers my mouth, and drags me out of the dressing room.

Denki and Katsuki stood outside to judge my outfit, "Y/N.. are you sure?" Katsuki asks.

Denki half smiles, "yeah, are you comfortable in it? You don't have to wear a dress."

"Yeah I'm sure, it's for the best way to show everyone that I'm strong." I say.

They nod their heads and Momo pays for the dress.

While meeting the rest of 1-A, everyone stared. Instead of crying and hiding, I smiled and stood high. Deku nudges me, "Is everything okay?" He asks.

I was close to tears, "Yes, I know things are visible but it's all in the past." I say.

He nods his head, "I'm glad you're okay, you're a strong classmate." He says.

I decide to hug him back and continue to the doorway to the restaurant. Denki holds his arm out and I take it. "My self confidence is starting to fade.." I whisper to him.

He smiles and looks at me, "it's good you got this far, if you want to go back we can."

I shake my head, "No, I'm not going to bail on everyone because of my self problems."

He nods his head. Katsuki comes up behind us and pokes me, "You're doing great!" He says.

I've never seen him this supportive to anyone. I crack a smile, "thanks." I reply.

We approach the entrance and order a large table. I knew it was going to be expensive but as long as everyone was happy, I'm happy. I sit down and slump in my seat. "y/n are you okay?" I hear someone mumble.

I look up to see Todoroki looking down on me, "yeah, why?" I ask.

"You just look upset, also I can pay." he says.

"Oh, no it's fine I offered so I'll pay." I say. I look back down and fake smile.

He nods his head and finds a seat near me. I noticed he kept glancing at me.

The food was good but not the bill. Once we got the bill everyone went silent. I read the last number, our total, $575.

My jaw dropped to the floor. "How bad is it?" Everyone asks.

"Well... $575.." I say.

Todoroki smiles, gets up and takes the bill, "I'm paying!" he yells and runs.

I chase after him but see him at the counter already paying. Once I get to him he laughs, "Y/n you can pay next, besides my family has far more money than this." he says,

I roll my eyes, "fine" I yell

We walk back to the table and meet the rest of the group. "Ready to go?" Denki asks me.

I nod my head and he holds out his arm. "So? Wasn't as bad as you thought it would be, right?" he asks me.

I look up in confusion then realize what he meant, "Oh, that! It was actually nice to wear something like this!" I yell.

He laughs and drags me a little, "that's good, I'm glad you're starting to feel more confident."

I smile and nod my head, "I love it!"
