Welcome To The Exams

Sakura stood in the middle of the arena waiting nervously for the exams to begin with the other competitors. Sakura has changed quite a bit during the month under tutelage of Anko.

One of the first things Anko done into her was a new mindset to her life as a kunoichi. She took the time to even show what can befall kunoichi if they aren't prepared, something nobody else had berthed to really explain before.

Sakura had changed physically as well. She learnt early on that when working with Anko, everything became much worse if you complained. Even though she was in Sakura's own words, a complete lunatic with her training, she couldn't complain with the results.

Sakura has got real muscle definition now, where before she was just thin from dieting. Not that you could see the results that well because her outfit covered it up.

She's wearing standard black Konoha shinobi pants and sandals on the lower part of her body. On her upper part she's wearing a thin black long-sleeved shirt that had some padding to help protect her vital spots. Over this she's wearing a tan trenchcoat like Anko.

No matter how hard it was, Sakura loved training with Anko, even the common hospital visits. Thinking back on her training under Kakashi she almost scoffs. She remember Anko's reaction on how little Kakashi had been teaching her and his behaviour.

FLASHBACK

"That's it?" Anko asked her student horrified. "That's all Kakashi's done?" Sakura lowered her head in shame.

"It is. Sorry for being so worthless." Anko then did something that would shock almost all of Konoha. She gave Sakura a hug.

"It's not your fault." She palmed her face in her hands and shook her head slowly. "I don't think you realise how serious this is. Not training your genin and acting as unprofessional as he has is incredibly bad. You should make an official complaint."

"How would that help?"

"It will force the hokage to investigate and will help you receive proper training. It will also most likely force Kakashi to shape up or be demoted."

She then dragged Sakura along to the hokage tower to make the complaint.

FLASHBACK END

Sakura looked up at the crowd in pride at herself. She truly felt like she was a prepared a she could possibly be for this tournament.

"If all of the competitors aside from Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno could leave the arena we will begin." Genma, the proctor said. Soon all of them had left, leaving only Sakura and Sasuke behind.

Sakura looked over at Sasuke and could see the arrogance practically dripping off him.

"I wouldn't even need to use both hands against a nobody like you, you're that pathetic." Sasuke scoffs. Knowing from Anko that this is a tactic to throw her off her game Sakura doesn't rise to the bait. "Proctor start the match so that I can get someone worthy as a opponent next match."

Genma looked over the both of them and seeing the resolve in Sakura's eyes he decides to start the match.

"The first match of the finals of the chunin exams. Sasuke Uchiha vs Sakura Haruno begin."

The second the match begins Sakura throws two kunai towards her opponent as fast as she can before jumping backwards with a backflip and throwing two more.

Not expecting the girl that he saw as a pathetic fangirl just one month ago to be that fast Sasuke wasn't able to dodge both of the first pair of kunai. As he dodge one of them, the other cuts a deep gash on his left cheek.

He isn't able to think anymore about it as he is forced to activate his sharingan eyes to dodge the other pair.

Gasps ripples through the crowd. Nobody expected the girl from a civilian family to stand a chance, let alone injure the Uchiha.

"You bitch!" Sasuke exclaims as he starts to run towards her answering her kunai with his own thrown ones.

Sakura, seeing how Sasuke is approaching, stops her kunai bombardment and falls back to the taijutsu stance that Anko has taught her.

"You're so pathetic you can't even do a correct taijutsu stance." Sasuke still thinking this will be easy pulls his left arm back before throwing it forwards with all his power towards Sakura's face.

A smile spreads on his expression as he slowly see his hand creeping closer. Sadly he had lost his focus so he wasn't prepared when Sakura shifted to her right, caught his punch on the inside off her left wrist before punching his elbow with all her might with her right.

A crack was heard all around the arena as Sasuke's elbow was snapped in the opposite direction before he screamed in both pain and rage.

Wildly he started punching and kicking his opponent, but to his annoyance very few of them connected. Instead Sakura would bend and twist out of the way unnaturally at the very last moment before hitting her own counters.

IN THE STANDS

The jonin senseis were all looking at the match in surprise. They all assumed that Sasuke would win without trouble. As they started fighting with taijutsu Kurenai narrowed her eyes and turned to Anko.

"Did you teach her your taijutsu style?" Anko grinned viciously.

"It fits her. She's flexible and she had quite good reflexes. The plan was for her to do as she's currently doing. Waiting for the last moment before using her flexibility to twist away and counter attack." Kurenai was stopped from answering as she heard Asuma gasp before turning towards Kakashi.

"Please tell me that you didn't teach him that."

IN THE ARENA

Sasuke was furious that this fangirl from a loser civilian family held her own against him. Slowly an idea formed in is mind. Creating distance he went through the hand signs that he had meticulously worked hard to learn during the month,but his left hand by his right arm and charged his chakra.

Sakura could only stare in shock as lightning seemed to coat Sasuke's arm. Suddenly she could see him running towards her with the lightning chirping like birds.

She regained focus just in time to move backwards a small bit. Sadly she couldn't escape the attack fully. Fighting against the electrical current that went through her body, Sakura looked down and saw the hand of the last loyal Uchiha was buried in her lower stomach.

As her vision was slowly turning black, the last thing she heard was Sasuke declaring his victory over this worthless civilian trash before laughing the darkest and most evil laughter Sakura had ever heard in her life. Then, everything turned black and she knew no more.
