Sakura couldn't believe it, she had reached the chunin exam finals. She thought back to her victory over Ino the previous day at the preliminary round. She thought she had the match won when Ino suddenly trapped her by making her chakra travel along her hair that had been spread on the floor. Sakura, using her intellect, quickly realised that the technique was chakra heavy and that Ino was talking to stall to give herself a better chance to gain control over her fluctuating chakra. Sakura sent her own chakra to her feet to attempt to release herself. She knew after her first attempt that she needed to work with precision and use her chakra like a lockpick. She succeeded in freeing herself in the nick of time. As soon as she was freed she had to dodge Ino's family jutsu. Luckily she did it and could then just walk up to the blonde's body and place a kunai to her throat before being declared the winner.

The one thing she was a little down about as how in the first round she was up against her beloved Sasuke-kun in the first match. And if she by some miracle won, the matchups for the second round would be chosen then.

She arrived at the hospital in order to visit her beloved Sasuke-kun before trying to find her sensei to talk about her training. She had just entered when she saw Kakashi and Naruto arguing. Kakashi greeted her with a small nod before turning back to Naruto.

"I'm sorry Naruto, but I can't train you for the exams." Kakashi told the knucklehead.

"WHAT? WHY?" Naruto screamed loudly causing one of the nurses to look at him disapprovingly. Naruto didn't care and instead pointed angrily at his sensei. "You're just going to train the bastard instead."

"Calm down Naruto, this is a hospital." Kakashi tried to calm Naruto down. "But yes, I'm going to need to use the entire month to train Sasuke." He put up his hand to stop the explosion that threatened to escape from Naruto. "I have already brought somebody to train you this month. Come here Ebisu."

Sakura stopped listening for a bit as she saw Naruto's new sensei. She had to admit that she was a bit disappointed that Kakashi was pushing her to the side again. She had gotten used to this since they became a team, how Kakashi didn't even spare her the bare minimum attention that he should have. He was always busy with Sasuke-kun or sometimes with Naruto.

When she finally got her attention to her suroundings back she noticed that everybody was gone.

'Didn't I get a sensei?' Was her first thought as she looked around to try and find somebody. She couldn't believe that she had been completely forgotten.

"I heard everything and I must say that Kakashi truly is a bastard." Sakura turned around and saw the second exam proctor Anko standing there in all her glory. Fear started creeping up inside of Sakura before she took a better look at Anko's expression. She saw disappointment, not at her, but at Kakashi.

"Hello Anko-san." Anko waved her off.

"I don't do honorifics girl. Now what are you going to do about Kakashi abandoning you?" Sakura looked down sullenly.

"I don't know. Probably see what I can find in the library and try to train myself."

"Nonsense, I have heard how fun it is to train genins from Nai-chan that I might as well try it myself. I will train you for the finals." Anko offered her hand to shake which Sakura immediately accepted.

"Thank you Anko."

"Don't thank me yet little girl, this is going to be torture for you." Anko's smile sent shivers down Sakura's spine.
