Haru's  p.o.v

It was very relaxing sat here with Makoto, enjoying the afternoon sun cover our body's. It gave us a nice feeling of warmth.

We've been here for a while now and I decided to take of my socks so I could feel the sand against my feet, Makoto did the same.

I looked into the distance, enjoying the view of the blue ocean in front of me. I hummed as I felt Makoto chuckle slightly, "what's so funny?" I asked. "I've never really seen you this relaxed before Haru." He smiled down at me as I continued gazing at the ocean. "I see.." I spoke with a small hum at the end, smiling softly. "You wanna go for a dip in the sea?" I heard Makoto ask, moving on from the last conversation we had. My eyes lit up as I took my head away from Makoto's shoulder.

"Of course I do." I chuckled as I stood up, pulling my jeans past my knees as I made my way to the edge of the ocean. The tide was closer to us now as it gets closer with each hour that passed. I heard the soft ruffles of sand behind me and saw that Makoto was doing the same as me. "Slow down Haru." He laughed slightly. I just shrugged and continued walking to the ocean. Once I arrived I placed both of my feet around two inches into the water. I smiled to myself, I loved the feeling of water against my skin.

Makoto was now next to me, he was holding my shoes and socks along with his own. I guess I forgot to take them because I was too excited to get into the ocean. I looked up at Makoto as he immediately looked down at me with a soft expression. "I'm sorry I forgot to bring my stuff. I could carry it if you want." I spoke feeling slightly bad for my best friend. "No it's okay, I got it." He smiled and I nodded giving a small smile back before Makoto decided to speak again. "There's a wall down here that I used to sit on after university classes, just looking at the sunset. I thought maybe we could sit there for the meteor shower." He spoke casually.

I smiled softly with a nod before I decided to speak back. "That sounds good. Do you go there on your own?" I asked curious if he went to his spot with anyone else. "Yep, just me, I find it more relaxing that way. Especially after school has finished." Makoto spoke, looking ahead as I did the same. "I see." I spoke with a small smile.

I saw Makoto kneel down from the corner of my eye but I continued to walk slowly. I suddenly felt drops of water hit my face, knowing very well my best friend just splashed me. I heard Makoto laugh from beside me as he stood up straight. I shook my head to get the water off and glared at Makoto as I quickly leaned down and splashed him with as much water as I could get. "Who's laughing now huh?" I spoke playfully and chuckled with a smirk at the end.

Makoto pouted, "Haruu... That wasn't fair you had more water than me.." he spoke like a child. I just laughed with my hand over my mouth, feeling amused by Makoto's reaction.

"That's what you get." I smirked. Makoto laughed from beside me, "okay okay you win." He spoke in defeat as he brushed his hair back with his fingers. I blushed at the sight. He looked so handsome. "Oh look we're here, there's the wall." My best friend spoke, moving on from our last conversation as he pointed his finger towards the wall. I turned my head the direction he pointed and nodded as we began walking up to it.

We both sat close to eachother on the wall, the breeze was getting colder as the sun was slowly setting. I smiled softly at the sight as I heard Makoto hum. I looked up at him and saw he had his eyes closed, the sun reflected perfectly off of his skin. My cheeks heated up before my words let themselves speak. "Makoto I-" I was interrupted by a simple shooting star, not noticing the sun had set already. "Look Haru a shooting star, the meteor shower might start soon." He smiled then looked down at me. "I'm sorry, what did you want to say?" He asked, I could tell he felt bad for interrupting.

I just let out a small sigh before speaking. "It doesn't matter." I spoke as i saw Makoto lower his eye brows. "Oh, okay.." he looked back up at the sky.

After a few more minutes the meteor shower began and other people began to arrive. Some sat on the sand and some sat sat on the wall along the beach like me and Makoto. I smiled as I looked up at the sky. "It's so beautiful.." I spoke softly before speaking again. "I've never seen a meteor shower up close before." I smiled slightly and looked up at my best friend. Makoto looked back at me with..

Loving eyes.

I blushed as he leaned down slightly more. "Earlier on.. I can't help but wonder what you wanted to say.." I swallowed thickly. What's going on with him? My cheeks darkened, "I um..I.." I knew what I wanted to say but I didn't know if Makoto was just messing around with me or not.

"I like you too Haru." Makoto suddenly spoke as he leaned down closer, our faces only inches apart. "really?.." I looked directly into Makoto's eyes, surprised with what he said. "Yes.. I have for a while actually.. " I saw him move back slightly after he spoke. I smiled lovingly at him and caressed his cheek. "Me too..." I spoke quietly but audible enough to hear.

Makoto leaned into my touch as we both leaned closer to eachother and kissed on the lips. I hummed. His lips were so soft, it felt amazing. I wanted more. Makoto tilted his head and I tilted mine the opposite way. The kiss was short but you could feel love run though it. I pulled away and breathed, I could tell my cheeks were dark, so were Makoto's.

"I love you Haru..." Makoto spoke softly, I smiled at his words. Feeling happy he felt the same. The meteor shower soon ended but we payed no attention to it's ending. We just gazed into each others eyes.
