Chapter 4

Haru's  p.o.v

I fell asleep soon after Makoto. I smiled softly as I began to dream about whatever my mind drifted off to.

After hours of peaceful sleep I soon awoke due to the sun beaming through the curtain's. I fluttered my eyes open and squinted trying to gain focus. After a few moments my vision was fine so I decided to look over at Makoto on the bed next to me. A blush krept onto my cheeks as I watched my best friend sleep.

I slowly got out of bed and opened the curtains, hearing movement from the bed behind me. I turned around again and saw that Makoto was finally waking up, though his eyes wouldn't open. I walked over to his bed and kneeled down in front of him, smiling softly. "Makoto.. wake up.." I spoke quietly.

After a few moments Makoto opened his eyes, his lips turning into a smile once he saw me. "Good morning Haru, did you sleep well?" He asked with a yawn at the end of his words. I nodded and stood up straight. "I did thank you, how about you?" I asked back the same question. I saw him sit up as he stretched his arms out, seeing his toned muscles made me blush. "I slept well." He smiled at me, luckily he didn't notice my red face.

What's wrong with me? I always see him like this, especially when we go swimming.

I shook away my thoughts and grabbed a towel from the closet next to my bed, throwing it over my shoulders. "I'm gonna  take a shower, okay?" I spoke looking at him, my hand on the bathroom door knob. Makoto smiled at me and nodded, "that's okay, we can go for breakfast after you're finished." He spoke happily, causing my lips to perk up with a small nod.

I walked into the bathroom and got undressed, throwing my night clothes into a laundry bin next to the door. I stepped into the shower and turned on the cold water, already feeling fresher than before.

I let the water run down my back, a relaxed hum left my mouth at the feeling. I just love the water.

I heard movement from the other room, assuming it was Makoto getting dressed ready to go and get breakfast. I smiled contently to myself feeling relaxed as I thought of my best friend. Even thinking about him lightens up my mood.

After a few minutes I felt myself clean enough to stop washing. I turned off the shower and silence could now be heard all throughout the room.

I grabbed the towel from the rack and wrapped it around my waist. I stepped out of the bathtub and brushed my teeth before drying myself off, getting dressed in the process.

"You nearly done in there Haru?" I heard Makoto ask from the other side of the door. I blushed to myself realising I must have taken a long time, so I decided to answer him back, "I'll be right out." I spoke back, throwing my towel in the laundry bin.

I opened the door and looked up at my best friend, the cold air in the room behind hitting my warm face. I kept my eyes on Makoto, observing his features. I heard him chuckle at me causing my face to turn red. "You okay there Haru?" He spoke with a smirk. I rolled my eyes playfully and walked past him, "just get ready.." I spoke, he chuckled back at me and walked inside of the bathroom.

I smiled softly as I walked near the door and put my shoes on. After a few more minutes Makoto walked out of the bathroom and gave me a sweet smile, causing me to look back at him with a smile.

Makoto put on his shoes before grabbing the room key from the table and looking down at me. "You ready to go?" He asked me. I nodded and smiled slightly. "Yeah let's go." I spoke back to him.

He opened the door and let me out first. I thanked him before he stepped out himself, the two of us now walking down the corridor on our way to find a place to eat breakfast. "I have alot planned for us today." I heard Makoto speak in a happy tone. I looked up at him and gave a reassuring smile, "I'm sure it'll be fun.." I spoke softly, causing him to smile back at me. I love that smile..
