“Sending someone a candy gram?” Sam spoke softly. Dean turned to find Sam and Kendra standing in his motel room. He was taping up a box that was labeled to Kendra’s father.
“How’d you find me?” Dean spoke softly as he put the box down on the table.
“You’re going to kill yourself, right? It’s not too hard to figure out the stops on the Farewell Tour. How’s Lisa doing, anyways?” Sam shook his head.
“I’m not going to kill myself” Dean turned to face them. Kendra placed a hand on her stomach, she felt the baby kicking.
“No? So Michael’s not about to make you his Muppet? What the hell, man? This is how it ends? You just…walk out?” Sam asked him angrily.
“Yeah, I guess”
“How could you do that?” Kendra asked, she suddenly felt like she was losing her family. Her husband was gone, and her ‘brothers’ were fighting.
“How could I?” He asked then he turned to Sam. “All you ever did was run away”
“And I was wrong. Every single time I did.” Sam looked at him, trying to reason with him. “Just… please. Not now. Bobby is working on something”
“Oh really? What?” Dean snapped. When sam said nothing he turned to Kendra, she looked down at her feet. “You got nothing and you know it”
“You know we have to stop you” Sam looked at him.
“Yea you can try” Dean looked at Sam and then Kendra. “Just remember what happened last time. You’re not hopped up on demon’s blood this time and she’s pregnant”
“I could still kick you’re….” Sam placed a hand on Kendra’s shoulder to stop her.
“Yeah I know, but we brought help” Sam gestured behind Dean. Dean turned around to see Castiel standing behind him. Castiel touched Dean’s forehead and he fell forward, Sam and Castiel catching him before he hit the ground. Kendra felt awful about it, but it had to happen. A few hours later they are all sitting in the study at Bobby and Kendra’s house.
“Yeah, no, this is good. Really. You know, eight months of turned pages and screwed pooches but tonight, tonight’s when the magic happens.” Dean looked up from what he was doing.
“You ain’t helpin’” Bobby spoke without looking up from what he was doing at his desk.
“Yeah, well, why don’t you let me get out of your hair, then?”
“What the hell happened to you?” Bobby finally looked up from what he was doing.
“Reality happened. Nuclear’s the only option we have left. Michael can ice the devil, save a boatload of people” Dean was speaking realistically, but Kendra knew Bobby wasn’t going to let it go.
“But not all of them” Bobby shook his head. “We got to think of something else.”
“Yeah, well, that’s easy for you to say. But if Lucifer burns this mother down, and I coulda done something about it, guess what? That’s on me.”
“You can’t give up, son” Bobby shook his head.
“You’re not my father.” Dean spoke softly. “And you’re not in my shoes.” Kendra sighed, she knew where this was going. Bobby pulled out a gun from his desk and set it on top. He pulled a bullet out from his pocket and looked at it. “What is that?”
