It was about a month after the wedding that they started a case again. They couldn’t just sit back and wait as the world started to show signs of the end, so they were off to find a way to stop it. There was a town that they decided to go investigate a couple who had eaten each other to death. Obviously in love with each other, but it went over board and now Dean, Sam, Kendra and Castiel went to investigate. Kendra, Dean, and Castiel decided to stay behind. Sam was better at this type of thing anyway. Kendra lay back on the bed of the motel room. She was tired and a bit hungry, but that wasn’t unusual for her these days. The baby took a lot of energy out of her, especially with the extra abilities she seemed to have gained from it. It wasn’t long before Sam finally came back and he sat down.

“So… how’d it go?” Dean asked looking up from the book he was reading. At that moment Castiel was no where to be found, but he would come if she called for him. He always did these days.

“Um...No EMF, no sulfur. Ghost possession and demonic possession are both probably out.” Sam shook his head. He was very confused. Kendra sat up from lying on the bed.

“Hmmm… that’s what I was going to put my money on” Dean looked across at Kendra. She shrugged her shoulders. Dean rubbed his eyes after a quick no from Sam. “Well, then what, then? Oh, dude! At the coroner's-- you didn't see these bodies. I mean, these two started eating a- and they just... kept going. I mean, their stomachs were full. Like - like...Thanksgiving-dinner full. Talk about co-dependent.”

“Well...I mean, we got our feelers out. Not much more we can do tonight. All right. We’re just gonna go through some files. You can go ahead and get going.” Kendra looked across at Dean. He looked confused.

“I’m sorry?”

“Go ahead.” Sam knew what Kendra was talking about. “Unleash the kraken. See you tomorrow morning.

“Where am I going?” Dean was thoroughly confused.

“Dean” Kendra got up and looked at him. “It's Valentine's day. Your favorite holiday, remember? I mean, what do you always call it-- Uh, unattached drifter Christmas?”

“Oh yeah” Dean looked away. “Well... be that as it may...I don't know. Guess I'm not feeling it this year.”

“So you’re not into bars full of lonely women?” Sam was confused, Dean never turned down going to a bar getting drunk and having a fling with a woman.

“Nah, I guess not” He took a sip of the beer that Kendra had handed him. “Ahh.. what?”

“That’s when a dog doesn’t eat… then you know something’s wrong” Kendra watched Dean.

“Remarkably patronizing concern duly noted,” Dean glared at her. “Nothing’s wrong. We gonna work or not?”

Sam and Kendra sat down near him at the table, both extremely worried. Dean wasn’t acting himself. It was a few hours later that Sam’s phone got a call and the three of them were on their way to the coroner’s office. Another pair of what was being called a double suicide. Sam, Dean and Kendra knew different, which is why the three of them were dressed as FBI agents standing in the coroners office. The coroner came in looking pleased to see Dean.

“Agent Marley, can’t stay away, can you?” Dr. Corman spoke, watching them.

“Heard you tagged another double suicide” Dean spoke clearing his throats.

“Well, I just finished closing them up” Dr. Corman watched then.

“Dr. Corman” Dean gestured to Sam and Kendra, “This is my partner special agent Cliff and our newbie special agent Stone.”
