Jungkook has been pestering her for days, insisting that she should accompany him to dinner, in other words he was asking her out on a date, but no matter how many times she rejected him, he always came back the next day, with flowers or chocolates or even books in attempts to and persuade her to accept.
The last time she went on a date, it did not end so well. She ended up slapping the boy, as he was getting far too touchy for her liking, and she rather not have that event repeat again.
Hearing someone enter the store, as the beads rattled against each other, she looked up from her book to find Jungkook holding a cute kitten.
"Animals are not allowed in the store." She said.
"There is no sign saying so."
No one actually had brought a pet into the store, so her mother never saw it necessary to put up a sign.
"If you are here to argue, please leave, you are wasting my time."
"Don't you want this kitten? It so cute, just like you." He said, stroking its fur.
"I am not cute." She said, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Your really cute when your angry." He said grinning.
"I am not angry."
Jungkook doesn't respond and places the kitten the table.
"Why do you keep pestering me so much?"
"My love, I am not pestering you." He said innocently.
"You are."
"Why are you always so mean to me? Have I not always been nice to you?" He says, pouting.
"You sound like a child Jungkook."
"How so?"
She raises her eyebrow.
"Just come have dinner with me."
"No."
"Why?"
"Because I do not want to."
"If you come with me to dinner, I will not, what's the word you use?... I remember 'annoy' you for a week."
"You must be joking, are you currently in the right, my mistake, what I meant was, are you currently in your usual state of mind?" She was quite surprised that he offered such a bargain, she never would have thought he would stay away from her for a week, unless he's on a so called business trip over seas.
"Of course, so will you do the honours of joining me for diner??"
She really didn't want to agree, but it would result in an entire week of peace and quite.
"Yes." She said in defeat, hoping she does not later regret her decision.
---------------***--------------
Jungkook insisted on escorting her to the dinner. Now she stood waiting outside her house in a simple dress and coat, her noise and cheeks tinted pink from the cold.
A carriage pulled up in front of her, the driver got up from his seat and opened the door.
"I'm sorry I'm late my love, a certain issue popped up that I just had to be dealt with." He said stepping out of his carriage.
She nodded in acknowledgement.
"Were you waiting long?"
"No." She lied, but it was not really a lie, she only waited for about 30 minutes.
