That night was the best in her life. Aldwin let her feel like a woman. He let her feel what loving couples did. He let her feel what sex was like. Not forced sex, but love making.
Once they were done, he rolled off her and blew out a hard sigh, staring up at the sky. She lay like he had left her, sprawled out and completely naked. The chill of the night air had no affect on her as the leftover warmth of their endeavour kept her comfortable. In her mind, she could hear Iris purring. Aldwin chuckled and rolled onto his side as he rebuttoned his fly. "I hope we made those dragons happy. Cause that was the best sex I've her had."
She smiled and scooted closer, rubbing her hand over his shoulder while pressing her breasts to his chest. "I can hear Iris purring so I think you did good."
He smiled and kissed her gently, not passionate enough to get the mood going again, but just hard enough to keep the passion going a little longer.
Suddenly, Ceruleo's voice came over their mind link. "Get under the cave! I sense someone coming towards the valley by the air."
They both gathered up the blanket and their clothes and ran under the cave, getting dressed while waiting for the mysterious someone to appear. The sound of heavy wing beats was coming from a silver cloud bank and a silvery grey dragon came sailing out of it, but it wasn't just some normal dragon. It had a sort of bridle, saddle, and a rider. A familiar rider.
Kinsey was glad that Aldwin clamped a hand over her mouth, or her scream from Audrey's appearance was give them away. Audrey wore a gallant silver cloak with red lining and a silver crown atop his head. He rode the dragon with little worry and the nonchalance he wore was scary.
Aldwin drew her back a little, but they continued to watch as Audrey circled the dragon, gazing around with an angry expression and then took off in another direction. Aldwin shook his head. "He won't quit will he? He really wants you in his bed that bad?"
Kinsey shook her head. "No. He only wants to marry me so that he'll have my father in his grip. With my father at his whims, he can conquer all the land he wants with little worry about the consequences."
"Well your dad should've figured out that you're missing by now? And the fact that Audrey now has that pet, I'm sure that your dad is suspicious."
Kinsey shook her head. "I can't worry about dad anymore. He can take care of himself and I need to move on from life back there. Besides, I have you now."
She hugged his waist and he smiled, kissing her head. "Good. Now let's get some dinner started. I'm starved."
She laughed. "Technically it's almost breakfast." "Whatever. Let's just eat."
They ate a quick meal of mutton and apples, topping it off with clear water from the pond. Suddenly, Aldwin glanced at her stomach and scratched his neck. "I hope to God that you don't get pregnant. I wasn't thinking when we had sex."
Kinsey felt her cheeks flush and then she put a hand on her stomach at the weird thought of their being a child there. Aldwin's child? It was very intriguing. She shrugged and glanced at him. "I see no problem with it."
Aldwin blushed a little and then coughed, gesturing to the bed he'd fashioned in the corner. It was just a mess of blankets and some pillows he'd made from deer skin and some wild cotton he'd found just outside of the cave. "Let's just get some sleep."
She nodded and laid down, but as she drifted into a deep calm sleep, she felt as though Iris was moving through her body, slowly working and mending at something, but as her curiosity heightened, so did her drowsiness.
She fell into a peaceful slumber, filled with dreams of her and Aldwin's future. That future mostly revolved around the possibility of a child in their future. Truly, she'd love to have his child. It was so unique of a feeling that she wanted to feel every second of it. She wanted to bring a life into the world. And she wanted that little life to be of Aldwin's blood.
