wade's p.o.v:
after the distracted globe, all i can think about is her. i wish i knew her name. hopefully i'll see her soon. after she left the oasis for some reason, i stayed behind and just sat there confused. i finally got up and was about to walk out of her shop when something caught my eye.

a delorean sitting on a jack, in the middle of getting fixed. i smiled and decided to leave the oasis so i took my googles off and walked back to my stack. as i was walking all i was thinking was that it's getting a little sketchy to be out here with all these IOI drones out. i swear they've tripled over the past week.

as i made my way up the ladder i saw a girl with shoulder length blonde hair, black round sunglasses and a retro look about her. as she was about to knock , i asked if i could help her.

she turned around and i'm guessing looked at me but i couldn't see her eyes. "is this your place?" she asked and i nodded. her voice did sound pretty familiar. "is anyone home?" she asked. what's with all the questions? "no, my aunt and her boyfriend went into town. why?" i asked. she wiggled the door knob, opened the door and dragged me in.

she slammed the door shut and right as i was about to say something, she put her hand on my mouth. "okay, don't talk, just listen." she said and i nodded. she let go of me and went to shut all windows and pulled down the drapes. she grabbed my hand and led me to the couch. that grip, i've felt somewhere before. no way.

"epiales??" i asked in shock. she smiled, "the one and only" i tackled her in a hug and she fell back on the couch laughing. "my real name's madison." she said as i pulled away away, realizing the position we're in. i could just kiss her right now. she propped herself on her elbows as i leaned in.

"oh my god!!" madison yelled and i jumped back and fell on the floor. "what?" i asked kind of irritated but confused. "the next key! i figured it out! we've been thinking about it too literally! the leap halliday didn't take was with kira. he had a chance to be with her, he had a chance to kiss her..." she whisper yelled. "but he didn't take the leap." i responded with shock.

"exactly, that's the next clue! you have to meet artemis. let's go!" she yelled while pulling my hands and taking me out the door to the rebellion.

"what's up with you and dragging me everywhere?" i asked with a slight laugh in my voice. she rolled her eyes and said, "this is it" as we walked through the doors she explained what this place is and who stays here.

"madison, you here?" i heard arty yell. i walked into the common room and saw her writing. "i brought a guest!" she announced with me by her side. "oh,'i'm samantha, nice to meet you." she said while shaking my hand. "nice to meet you too samantha. i'm wade." i stated.

i noticed madison was looking like she was going to burst with excitement. "does he sound familiar to you?" madison asked ecstatically. sam stood there for a few seconds, "of my god,'is it really you parzival?" she asked with shock? i nodded and she engulfed me into a hug.

"we found the next clue sam!" madison stated as she pulled out her notebook to start planning our next move and explain what we found. i loved watching her take control. she's super passionate about this game and winning.

i wonder what color her eyes are. she hasn't taken off her glasses since i saw her. samantha went to go grab her googles from her room which left me and madison alone.

"so, why haven't you taken off your glasses?" i asked her. she kind of stiffened but relaxed. "you promise you won't laugh or think it's weird?" she asked quietly. i grabbed her hands and responded with a definitely not. she sighed and took off her glasses and looked up at me.

her eyes were the most beautiful things i've ever seen. one of them was as blue as the ocean and the other was a navy color like the night sky. i could almost see stars in that one. "i-i'm sorry, i shouldn't of." she said as she started to put the glasses back on. i snatched them out of her hands, folded them and threw them to the other couch.

i couldn't take it anymore so i grabbed her face and kissed her. after getting over the few seconds of shock, she melted into the kiss and put her hands in my hair. i moved my hands to her waist and pulled her into my lap as we pulled apart for air but not long she pulled me back in and continued.

i've never felt anything like this. my heart was going 80 miles an hour and i felt as if i wasn't stopping anytime soon. "so y'all are getting friendly." we heard from the opposite side of the room.

she pulled away, blushing like crazy and mumbled something along the lines of just getting to the challenge. i laughed but we continued to plan out our next move.

after much deliberation, we decided to go to the journals and call h for back up. our next stop...

the movies.
