Devin POV
I screamed, shielding my head from the glass. The noise stopped, and I felt something drip on my arm. "Damit" i said, frustrated. These cuts would need stich especially. I walked over to the short one and cut him lose, doing the same right after to the tall one. They both rubbed there wrists and stared at me.
I let out a gasp of air, almost out of bordem. I made my way over to the broken window, and a cool breeze reached my face.
"Son of a bi-" i stopped my self and just breathed.
I reached up and pulled down the blind, and turned around.
"Well that was interesting. Beer anyone?" I asked, adding a smile.
They nodded, slowly sitting down on the couch. I grabbed two drinks and passed them over, sitting down on a chair across from them.
"Your not worried about that?" The tall one asked. I grabbed the rock from off the floor. "Your next" was written on the smooth part of the rock. I looked back up at them and shrugged, putting the rock on the ground.
"I say bring it" i replyed smileing. "Now tell me your names.before I kick you out" i eyed them closely.
The tall one laughed a bit, and then shorter one smirked.
"I'm dean, this is sam" dean said, taking a swig of his beer.
"Gotta a last name?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Smart girl. Winchester" Sam said. I could almost see a smile on his face.
"I'm assuming you have a name too, sweetheart" dean smirked.
"No I dont" i seriously reply ed.
Both boys looked at me. I smiled.
"Just kidding. I'm devin splayn" i took a sip of my drink. They both stared at me.
"Did you just say splayn.as in Kayla splayn?" Dean asked, his voice rough, and serious.
"Uh yea. That was my mom " i said, adding some curiosity into my voice.
Dean ran his hand over his face, and sam just moved closer to me.
"Devin, how old are you?"Sam asked.
"I'm 16" i said. I raised both eyebrows this time.
Sam turned to dean. Dean put his finger up. "Don't even think it sammy" he growled.
Dean turned back to me.
"Devin do you know who your dad is?" Dean asked.
"Uh no actually. I only have enishles but.." i just stopped talking.
"But what?"dean asked.
"The night my mom died. It's one of the last things she said to me. I mean, she could of just imagened it. She had lost a lot of blood" i stopped there, looking at the ground.
"Devin... I'm sorry. But what we're the letters?" Sam asked. I looked at him. His long wavy hair suited him. He seemed kind and caring. I liked him.
" D.W. Like I said, for all I know she could of thought it all up!". I stammered out the words.
Dean just looked at me. I clearly looked right back at him. His green eyes were the same as mine. Same hair color. "D.w" i thought to myself. I quickly drew away from that thought.
"Well" i said "it's getting late, I'm drunk and I still have to clean this up. It's time for you guys to go" i stood up, pulling down my shorts a bit. You never realize how short they are until you have people over.
"Devin I think it's best if you come with us" Sam softly spoke, comeing up to me and placing his hand on my shoulder. I pushed him away.
"Don't touch me! And I'm not going anywhere!! I've been alone here forever, and I'm not leaving!" I yelled.
A silence came over us.
"How long have you been here " dean asked.
"It doesn't matter" i sighed took a sip from my drink.
"How long" repeated sam in a harsh voice.
I rolled my eyes. "Since I was 9" i mumbled.
" since you were nine?" Dean looked at me.
"and a half" i pointed out and looked at his eyes. He looked sad. Hurt. Guilty? I couldn't decide.
"That's it. Your comeing with us." Dean walked towards me and put me over my shoulder.
"Hey!! Put me down right down!" I screamed slapping his back and kicking my legs.
"Dean!" Sam yelled after us.
"Grab her duffel bag sam" dean yelled back. I elbowed dean in the back of the head. He just chuckled.
"You'll have to try harder than that, sweetheart" he just laughed.
"I've knocked you out before, I'll do it again" i warned.
"Without your bat? I think not" i could almost hear him smirk. By this time we were walking through the forest. It had been about 5 minutes. It was freezing out and i couldn't help but shiver. I watched sam follow us. I didn't know whether i was too tired or too drunk to fight back, it just felt.. natural to be held by him. We finally reached his car. I shut my eyes and pretended to be asleep. Dean laid me down on the seat, only to stop and look down at me. Sam's voice came clear.
"She looks like you" he quietly said.
"I know" replyed dean.
It was quiet for a moment until a sudden warm came over me. I heard my door slam and the front two open. I peeked an eye open. Dean was now only wearing a t-shirt. I looked down. He had taken his jacket and put it on me. I smiled a bit, drifting off into a deep sleep.
