//////Dean's POV/////////

we pulled up at the old motel,3 hours away from bobby. I got out and stretched my legs and sam did the same, cracking his back in the process.

"Dude" i looked at him, shaking my head.

"What?" He said, pulling and inocent face.

"That's f*cking gross" i walked to the back of the car, pulling the door opened. I heard sam chuckle as I peared in. All three of the were sleeping. Devin leaning on Max, and james leaning on devin.

I smiled at the scene. I reached in and picked james up.

"Sammy, go get a room." I said, and with that sam jogged to the office. I cradled james in my arms for a moment. This kid had been through some serious sh*t in his life. Both parents are drunks, who forced them to grow up and be hunters. He was too young.  So we're devin and max, but they didn't have a choice. Now this kid, he could of had a life but his parents decided otherwise. Sam came back, and I followed him. we got room number 3, the biggest one they had. It had a regular room with two beds. Then it had a joint room attached with a couch and another bed. I placed james on the couch in the joint room. I walked out into the cool air and saw the back seats of the impala, empty.

My chest tightened and I lost my breath. Only for a second, until I saw them hugging, and leaning on the car. I rolled my eyes and tapped on maxs should.

"Oh uh hi dean" he said, turning and seeing me. His cheeks went red and devin giggled. I rolled my eyes.

"Come'n guys, we have a long day ahead of us" i said, leaving them by them self.  Boy I was going to regret that.

Dean walked back into the motel room, and I turned to devin.

"Crap, we really shouldn't do that around your dad" i sighed. Her buetiful green eyes almost glowed in the moon light.

"What hug me? It's fine. Now that we're Soul mates and all he can't really complain" she said, smileing.  It was then I realized that her eyes were literally glowing.

"Uh, devin your eyes are, uhm glowing" i said, staring into them. She started to smile but stopped once she realized I was serious. I grabbed her wrist and lightly pulled her into the motel room.

"Uh dean, devin. Her eyes are, well glowing" i said, putting my hand on the back of my neck. He sighed, his nose in a book about lore.

"Keep the romance talk to her, not me" he said, roughly. I put my arms over my chest and sighed frustrated.  It was then, that sam looked up from his computer and saw what I saw.

"Dean her eyes are actually glowing" Sam said, a panic in his voice. Dean got up from the bed and looked straight at devin. She rolled her eyes.

"No need to look at me like I'm an alien" she said, pronouncing the last word.

"I'll call bobby" Sam said, walking over to his phone. Dean just keeped looking at her.

"What are you?" He asked in a whisper, his voice still harsh.  I looked at him and back at devin. She just looked hurt and shocked that he would ask that.

"Dean!" Yelled sam, his eyebrows furrowed. Dean put his hand over his mouth, his eyes widened.

"Devin, I didn't mean to say that!" He exclaimed, looking for forgiveness in his daughters eyes.

"Yes dean, you did" she said coldy, a tear fall from her eye. She turned and went into the bathroom, locking the door behind her.

Sam and I just stared at him.
