Frodo when you were late for a date.
You sprinted though the Shire trying not to bump into people as you went. You sprinted through Bagend and towards the woods. You soon came to sudden stop as Frodo turned to face you.
"You're late." He stated, crossing his arms over his chest, but you could see that he was trying to hide his smile.
"S-s-sorry." You panted, your hands on your knees, gasping for air, "Merry and Pipin held me up, they needed some help." You added, striating up and clutching the stitch in your side.
"Oh, I see." He nodded, still trying to keep his smile at bay, "You would rather spend time with them." He continued, pretending to look hurt. You rapidly shook your head.
"Of corse not! They wouldn't let me leave until I had helped them. I would much rather spend time with you." You grinned, a small blush dusted your cheeks.
"I'm glad, me too." Frodo smiled and kissed your cheek.
