You had just made a joke about Sean wanting to be named after a wailing woman when you noticed that Alex had smiled.
"Look! I made the brooding boy smile. Victory is mine." You grinning pumping your fists into the air causing everyone to laugh and Alex to roll his eyes but chuckle none the less; he was growing to like you.
