AU: SNK mixed with a soulmate AU

Soulmate AU is a place where from the moment you are born you are already paired with your soulmate, at birth you have a tattoo, if you meet a person with a matching tattoo they are your soulmate. The tattoo may not be in a same place as someone else's. It could be placed on the hand,arm, leg, etc. If your soulmate has passed on the tattoo will vanish and you will never have another one.

Erwin P.O.V

I stare at the tattoo on my inner forearm, the tattoo was an image of the wings of freedom. I let out a sigh.

"What are you thinking about Eyebrows?" Levi asks me. I quickly roll down my sleeve so he would,t see.

"Nothing Levi" I tell him hoping he would leave, but I know he won't leave that easily.

"Tch" He pauses for a few moments. "You're thinking about your soulmate aren't you?" He asks me. I stare at him in disbelief, how did he know?

"I'm taking that as a yes" He reply's

"I-I don't know Levi. If I die my soulmate will be heartbroken. I don't want to put her through that pain" I tell him

"Well i'm not one to tell you how to live your life" and he leaves. I let out another sigh before heading to the Mess Hall.

(Y/n) P.O.V

I am currently sitting in the Mess hall, eating with my few friends: Armin, Christa, Eren, Jean, Mikasa, and Ymir.

"(Y/n) why do you always wear gloves?" Armin suddenly asks me.

"O-oh, my hands are just always cold" I reply to him.

But that is a lie. The real reason I wear gloves is to hide my soulmate tattoo. My tattoo is on my right palm so I cover it by wearing gloves on my hands.

"(Y/n) what's your tattoo?" Christa asks me...I wanted to avoid this.

"I just ask because everyone else here knows what each other's tattoo is exept for yours" Christa adds.

Armin's tattoo is an open book with a pen next to it, Christa and Ymir's tattoos are diamonds, making the both of them each others soulmates, Eren's tattoo is a bird flying, Mikasa's tattoo is a shield with two crossed swords, and Jean's was the military police logo.....was....it vanish during The Battle of Trost.

"Yea why don't you show us? It's only fair" Ymir says.

"Ymir let's not force (Y/n) to show us. If she wants to show us or not it's her choice" Armin tells her

"Alright, only because I don't wanna fight in front of my Christa" she then starts to plant kisses on her forehead.

We continue to talk for a few minutes when Commander Erwin walks in making the other girls at other tables stop talking about their topics and start to fangirl over Erwin.

"I'm sure he has the same tattoo as me, who else could have it?"

"He's so hot! His soulmate is sooo lucky!"

"If his tattoo vanished do you think I have a chance with him?"

Are only few of the sentences heard for their tables. Of course me nor anyone one of my friends have time for that shit.... Especially cuz it's considered rude to our soulmate.

"Who is the commanders soulmate anyway?" Eren suddenly asks

"Yea.. we've never seen his tattoo or even seen him with a person who could be close to his soulmate" Ymir says.

"I mean.... He's the commander. He probably doesn't want to be in a relationship because of his job" I say

"True. But this is not really any of our business so let's stop talking about it" Armin says and we start to talk about our previous subject.

Erwin P.O.V

I cannot help but stare at her....everytime I am in the same room as her I can't help but stare..... She is so beautiful, strong, caring..... Whoever is her soulmate is a lucky guy.

"Oi Eyebrows. Why do you keep staring at (l/n)?" Levi asks me

"H-huh? No I'm not" I quickly say as I turn my head from her.

"Enough bullshit Eyebrows. Why are you starting at that cadet?" He asks again

"N- nothing. Don't worry about it" I try to hide my embarrassed face from him

"Tch" and he continues what he was doing before

'phew. I almost got caught' I try to keep my eyes off of (y/n) but I still continue to stare at her god-like beauty.

Still Erwin P.O.V

I was walking to my office not concentrating of my surroundings. All my thoughts were invaded by (Y/n).

'she is so beautiful...I wonder who her soulmate is'

While in my train of thought I accidentally bump into someone.

"KYA!" the person yelps as they fall. I try to grab their hand but it slipped. But I was still holding something. I look at my hand and saw that I was holding a glove. I look at the person and see it was (Y/n)

"I'm so sorry (L/n)" I say to her as I offer my right hand to pull her up.

"Its alright commander" She reaches out for my hand. But without her glove I was able to notice something on her palm. Before she reaches my hand I observed it and my eyes widened in shock when I was realized what it was.

It was her tattoo. Her tattoo was the wings of freedom. It matched mine exactly.

"Are you alright commander?" She asks me

"(Y/n)...." She looks at me confused when I call her by her first name. She looks at her hand to see why I have been staring at it. She gasps when she realizes her glove was off and tries to hide it while looks for her missing glove.

"Why are you trying to hide it?" I ask her

"Y-you won't understand" She says as she looks at me with tears forming in her eyes. I slowly walk over to her and place a kiss on her forehead. She looks at me in shock. I roll up my sleeve until my tattoo is visible as well. Once she sees mine she is standing there shocked.

"I tried to hide mine as well. I was scared to find my soulmate, but now that I realized it was you. I am no longer afraid." I hold her hand in mine. " I understand if you don't want to be together" Once I say that I release her hand from mine, return her glove to her and I continue to walk.

"W-wait!" (Y/n) shouts as she grabs my hand making me stop.

"I-I can't explain why I tried to hide it. But it doesn't mean I didn't want to be with my soulmate. I am happy you're my soulmate Erwin. I've liked you for a long time but I was to afraid to say anything. I want to be with you." She says to me.

I pull her into my arms and hold her. After a few seconds I lean down and kiss her which she accepts. We kissed until we needed air and parted from each other

"I love you (Y/n)" I say to her

"I love you too, Erwin"
