"Wise Girl, you are the one true love of my life. I mean romantically, at least. My mom and sister are also pretty awesome." Percy grins. "Look at me, getting all ADHD-signature distracted at my wedding." That gets a laugh. "Anyway, You were Percy Enemy No.1 when I first met you. OK, that's an exaggeration, but we didn't get along. Then we accepted each other's presence and tolerated each other. Then we became friends. Then best friends. Then we were each other's first kiss. Then we were still best friends. Then we finally started dating, much to the relief and happiness of everyone who knew us. May I just add, mind your own business, you creepy eavesdroppers!" That also gets a laugh. "Anyway, Annabeth, you're the best. I'm happy to spend the rest of my life with you. At least, hopefully the rest of my life. You are fierce, sweet, quite frankly scary, smart, and above all, one of the best people I've ever met. I'm so, so, so happy that you'll be my wife by the end of the day. I mean, we waited long enough. We've been engaged since we were twelve." Every looks confused, except for Annabeth and Grover, who know he was talking about that game of Hacky Sack so many years before. "I'm done now. Your turn." He says bluntly.
"Wow." Annabeth says."That was kinda elaborate. Anyway, Percy, I love you more than anyone else and have for years. You are the one who made me trust people again. And you know how hard it is to make me change my mind. You're my Seaweed Brain and you always have been. Even when we didn't know that. Even if you were so oblivious that you still didn't understand that I liked you, even after I kissed you. Di immortales, Percy! You could be SO stupid it's hard to believe. You still can. But I love you anyway. You have your flaws, but they're better than mine. Your fatal flaw is LOYALTY of all things. Mine is the oh-so-stereotypical hubris: AKA deadly pride. But we work anyway. You're the best guy that I've ever met. And I'm so happy that I get to have you for a husband. You have made my life worth living Percy. I'd have died many times if you hadn't been there for me. You're so awesome. I love you."
The priest followed this with the "I do's". Then of course came, "You may now kiss the bride." Percy did indeed kiss the bride. And it was the best moment of both of their lives.
