jungkook's freshman year in high school

"jeon jungkook?"
the sudden yell startled the 14 year old boy. "h-here." he replied.
as jungkook's freshman homeroom teacher went on with attendance, he scanned the room. who his potential friends could be, and even his potential enemies.
"joo hyejin?" the teacher asked, "no? alright."
jungkook was looking around the room when suddenly a tall girl came rushing into the room.
"HERE!" she yelled suddenly. all the students chuckled and jumped in surprise. "JOO HYEJIN! HERE!"
she paced her self and stood before the teacher. "i-," out of breath, " i'm here. i'm so sorry i'm late ms. yu." the tardy student said sincerely.
"it's alright, just don't burst into the room next time." the teacher said sarcastically.
all the students stared and laughed as the embarrassed girl walked down the aisle. she slammed her backpack on the desk next to jungkook's.
she sighed out of humiliation as she set her head down on her desk.
jungkook stared at her for a while, sympathizing
her. he could hear her sniffles from his desk. jungkook then stood up and took a few tissues from the tissue box in the front. he walked back to the weeping girl and tapped her shoulder.
she quickly wiped her tears and looked up to the boy with glossy eyes. she looked at him, then the tissues.
"here." he set down the tissues on her desk and smiled warmly.
as he sat down on the seat next to hyejin, she looked at him intently. she took one of the tissues and wiped her tears.
after the first period, all the students rushed out of the classroom, onto their next.
jungkook was at his locker when suddenly he
felt a tap on his shoulder. he turned around and saw hyejin.
"thanks. for earlier." she said with a smile. jungkook nodded softly and closed his locker.
"hyejin." she said, as she stuck out her hand for him to shake.
"yeah, i know." he said jokingly. she laughed softly and felt her cheeks begin to feel hot.
"i'm jungkook. jeon jungkook." he said as she accepted her handshake.
and from that day on, they stuck with each other.
it wasn't until the last semester of sophomore year that they began to date. jungkook asked her on the night of hyejin's birthday. it was the best night of his life.
they were titled the school's "cutest couple of the year" in their junior year.
every moment they were together, they felt so excited and joyful. they never had a thought in their mind they would part. every second was precious to them when they were together.
they graduated high school together, along with their peers.
in their freshman year of college, they went out on a date, and jungkook confessed his love. hyejin excitedly replied back, "i love you too."
