It's been a while, I might as well get this story over with lol though the ones in storage weren't finished yet too.

Tally sighed in boredom, resting his cheek on his forearm on the cafeteria table. He put his phone face down and laid face down on his forearm as well.
No text from Ryder at all.
Don't get him wrong. He was still trying to not go back on his words but for two days straight, there were no news from Ryder. Not even a text that they had only exchanged twice when Ryder called him for a movie the third night and the last night they were together. Could it be a coincidence that after that night, both of them didn't want to see each other at all?
Oh wow, he thought Ryder was more persistent than that.
I guess he was already bored with me...
Another sigh escaped him as he lifted his head to rest his chin on his forearm this time, puffing out his lower lip as he did so.
Wait, was he feeling disappointed?
He felt like laughing. No way, that couldn't be it. He made his decision to not see the guy afterall, why should it matter if the other party happened to have mutual feelings on the matter? He should be glad, if anything. At least there was no need to deal with the guilt of a one-sided decision.
But still...Perhaps the thought of separating with his childhood friend again after being given a second chance to reconcile bothered him more than he thought.
"Hey Taylor, you okay?"
A sudden unfamiliar voice jolted Tally awake from his deep thought. He looked up abruptly and was met with a strangely familiar pair of hazel eyes.
Oh, Caleb!
If he got the name correctly.
"Ah hey Cal-Caleb right?"
Caleb chuckled. "Yes?"
A nervous chuckle escaped Tally as he reflexively rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry, was just making sure. I'm pretty bad with names, y'know." He smiled toothily to hide his embarrassment.
Caleb didn't seem to mind as he gestured towards the empty seat across Tally.
"Do you mind?"
Tally's questioning blue orbs darted from the teen's face to his hand.
"Oh no of course not. Help yourself!" Tally grinned pleasantly although he was thinking about Acacia at the back of his mind. That was usually where Acacia sat but she can always sit next to either of them anyway.
Speaking of Acacia, where the hell was she? Did the trip to the restroom was supposed to take that long? He had been sitting at their usual table, waiting for the line of students to settle before they were going to get their own lunch and she had been gone for like what? 10 minutes?
Oh, wait, it was just for 3 minutes. Damn, he must have been so lost in his thoughts to function properly. And now, with his mildly functioning piece of mind, he had to converse with Caleb – awkwardly he might add. Not that he had anything against the guy but they barely talked.
Ah well, he seemed like a nice and friendly guy that can stop whatever awkwardness that only he was feeling between them anyway. He can keep up with this until Acacia came back.
