Forgot this story existed because I was so busy  with my uni exams then and now working life. Only thought of this again because of this 'staying at home' thing due to Covid-19 lol which made me missed my writing period. This story was already finished but I never got around to finishing the extra story which delayed me from uploading the rest of the stories lol I appreciate all the votes and comments that came when I was away for these 3-4yrs lol Just here to upload all the chapters to tie up loose ends. Enjoy.

Thunk!

Another dunk went in for the final point before the game was called off. Several men started to scatter to the side of the mini basketball court to get their drinks and wiped off their sweats.

"Wow, you seemed pretty frustrated today Ryder."

The said man turned towards his older companion as he put the head of his water bottle to his lips. After a brief glance of recognition, he downed his cool water dismissively before replying with a casual shrug.

"What's up Zacky? I'm feeling chilled honestly," he wiped his face on his blue cotton towel, sighing into it in exhaustion but with satisfaction of the steam he had let out during the intense two rounds of basketball with his fellow pack mates.

Zack raised a sceptical brow, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand and stared at his self-proclaimed little brother. Pity they were of similar heights now, just a difference of few inches with Zack dominating – Ryder is so not cute. But then even when the brat was an actual chubby brat, he was never cute. Their relationship was more of best buddies anyway so it would be an understatement if Ryder was never cute.

"Really? You're still gonna tell me that when you nearly clawed me in the middle of the game just to freaking steal the ball? Chill, my ass. Get your manicure in check."

"I didn't do that."

"Sure~Geez, especially when you dunked. Luckily you didn't puncture the ball. That was the last one we have since werewolves don't play nice."

Ryder raised a brow in amusement but before he could reply, Zack cut him again. "Oh and you dunked a lot today, and played well. Where the hell did you get all that energy from? Not to mention, your eyes kept turning yellow when we got the ball. You're PMS-ing or what? Tame that wolf, boy."

Zack muttered some incoherent words with displeased mumbles under his breath, though he wasn't particularly offended but more of a habit to mock Ryder. Ryder chuckled, sitting down on the bench.

"I'm fine now. I just needed to let off some steam."

Zack snorted and chuckled. "We all do."

Ryder would have changed topic when he was about to talk to Zack but the appearance of a certain someone appearing from the entrance of the maze garden they had at the far end of the backyard stole his attention.

The particular person was whistling casually while cradling a fat toad on his forearm close to his abdomen as he stroke the back of the pleased-looking toad. He turned his head to look at the usual group of guys that played basketball every now and then with no obvious interest until his round blue eyes landed on Ryder, whose eyes had been staring at the boy with intensity that made Zack look at him weird. The blue eyes lightened up as an adorable grin crept up on the boyish features. He waved at Ryder, his hand waving a little too eager. Ryder nodded in acknowledgement, raising his hand slightly to return the eager wave. As simple as that, the boy turned away to get into their house through the kitchen back door, Ryder's green orbs still following his movements shamelessly.
