mark was lost in thought.
it was a sunday so that meant he had no work to keep himself occupied. normally, he would be staying on his ex' house but that routine was thrown out the window now.
❝good morning, mr. lee. housekeeping❞ a knock was heard on his suite door.
❝come in, manang❞ meaning, older lady.
❝oh my señor, your place is a mess... and so are you❞ the old lady went to check up on his appearance.
his suite was filled with pizza boxes, take out food and gaming cds.
his face was paler than usual, his hair was all over the place and he was gaining some facial hair he didn't bother to tidy up.
❝i'm sorry, i didn't have time to clean up last night. i was tired❞
❝it is okay, mr. lee. you've been drinking?❞ the old lady said as she examined numerous bottles laying around. ❝just wine. with my friends❞ he said, still staring at the ceiling.
❝i think you need to get your blood flowing and have some fresh air outside. you're still young so you have fun, eh?❞ his housekeeper was about to pick up the ball in his bedside to store it in the drawer. ❝don't touch it, please!❞
❝si, señor. pacensia❞
mark grabbed the ball and turned to the woman. ❝i'm sorry. this was just... uh valuable to me, so yeah❞ the woman chuckled.
❝how about you take a good bath while i clean up this messy house, hmm?❞ mark nodded, agreeing.
taking his phone with him upstairs, he went to his master's bedroom and decided to freshen up a bit. he took a quick shower and stared at the ball again.
"not all is about business"
"one more thing, if someone touches the ball then you will share the luck and love with that person,"
"after that point, it wont work anymore if you're not together"
"you're still young so you have fun, eh?"
he remembered the words of the elder in the shop and his housekeeper. was he really working too much?
