Y/n's POV
During patrol with Leo and Raph, we ran into some trouble with the foot clan. Donnie was nowhere to be found and Mikey... well Mikey is gone. Leo and Raph unsheathed their weapons, so I followed suit. I looked up and saw him. Midnight, well Mikey but this wasn't the same turtle I fell in love with. Sadly I still love him, but it's wrong after all he's done, he is my enemy right? I dropped my W/n as I looked at him, tears welling up in my eyes as his stare broke from Leo and Raph to me.
Midnight's POV
My heart broke as I watched her almost collapse at just seeing me. I've always hated to see her sad, but this time she wasn't just sad she was broken. Which made me broken too.
Y/n's POV
I felt like I was choking. "Don't you even think about it Midnight," Leo growled. " think about what Leonardo?" Midnight retorted. I closed my eyes tight as I heard the clash of what I knew were Midnight's and Leo's katanas. My hands shook as I opened my eyes and watched them charge at each other. I put my hands over my mouth as I muffled my own choked up sobs.
*TIME SKIP*
After everyone retreated the only people left were Midnight and I. I took a deep breath and wiped my face. I stood and picked up my W/n. I felt a hand grab my wrist, I tensed up and turned to see the black-clad turtle.
Midnight's POV
I wanted to see her. I still love her and needed to know if she felt the same. "Y/n I'm sorry but I need to know if you still love me," I said as I released her wrist from my grasp. " I...I...umm...I," she stuttered as tears welled up in her E/c eyes. She took a deep breath and continued as she gently placed her hands on my cheeks, "I do but.. your one of them now," she said softly as tears still streamed down her face. Her hands dropped from my cheeks. She then turned to walk away but I reached out and grabbed her as I pulled her into a kiss. "I love you too," I said as I pressed my forehead to hers. " Please forgive me Y/n," I whispered as tears of my own slipped out. "I'm sorry that I broke you," I whispered.
