I sat by the window as the sun began to set.
Memories flooding back, both good and bad.
I had pondered upon the probems.A war.
Houses destroyed.
Suffering.
Others were suffering.Yet I was there, safe and alive.
Well, I had thought. perhaps for a while.I was drowning in my thoughts as darkness consumed the sky.
The stars shone bright, the moon offered it's light.
I opened my eyes when I heard a knock on the door.
Followed by footsteps of someone walking across the wooden floor."Miss Isabella, it's about time."
The sound of his voice sent shivers down my spine.
I looked up to him and asked.
"Is it time for dinner?"
He simply nodded, and then outside he proceeded.I was following him until we reached the stairs.
"Allow me to assist you down until we reach your chair. For I know you are still quite tired."
So I held onto him, all the way down.
I could see other people looking at us, yet they were not making a sound.I let my head face the ground.
To me this was a bit embarrassing, yet his kindness to assist, left me astounded.
