Avengers High School

chapter 6

After Class The Avengers and Abigail met up in the cafeteria for lunch. "This stuff looks disgusting." Bruce remarked. "And it is." Abigail replied. "I recommend bringing in something from home." Bruce nodded. "Yeah..." He just took an apple from the fruit stand.

Everyone was sat outside in the courtyard eating lunch and talking about their classes. "It took Chris about an hour to work out how to use the computer!" Abigail exclaimed. Tony snorted. "Really?!" Chris hit him and he shut up. Soon after Abigail walked to the bin.

"Guys we have a huge problem." Steve whispered. "What? The fact that you have no idea how to use a computer?" Tony asked sarcastically.
"No."
"Well what then?"
"I walked with Abigail to Computing and she asked me if I knew about the Avengers" Steve began
"And?" Clint asked bored.
"She said that no one remembers them. Like we never existed."
The group sat in silence.
"Did you actually check this?" Natasha asked.
"Well... No..."
"I shall go ask one of these tiny humans" Thor announced and he stood up.

A couple of minutes later Abigail came back. "Hey where's Chris?" Steve put his hand up. "No the Chris with long hair." Soon after Thor came back. "You were right Ste- Chris" Thor said. "Right about what?" Abigail asked. "What you told me about on the way to Computing"
"Ah. So do you guys remember them too?" She asked.
"Something like that." Bruce replied.
"I'm not sure what happened but I believe it happened two days ago. I opened my locker to grab something and this guy from my maths class asked me who was on the posters decorating my locker. I stared at him and asked if he had never heard of Natasha Romanoff." The group stared at her "What? She's inspiring. But then I asked if he had heard of the Avengers and he stared at me blankly. The one thing that confuses me is why I wasn't affected." The group sat and stared into their food.

"Oh no. Guys don't look now but we have an aggressive looking couple headed our way" Bruce whispered. "Just great. Like we needed more problems." Clint whispered back. "Ah fresh meat! Should we give them the initiation?" One said. The girl giggled. "Oh you know I would love to see that baby!" The whole table rolled their eyes. "As much as we would enjoy this initiation we have more pressing matters so clear off!" Thor said with a smile.
Tony face palmed as Steve tried to get Thor to sit back down. "Is he always like this?" Abigail asked Natasha. "Yeah."
