So there I sat, wide eyed and slack jawed. I lousily sat up, holding my hand against my head. My stomach unknotted, and I felt a lot better. Then again, it wanted to knot again. What was I going to do? I had to leave, but how? Freddy would just kill me. Or would he? Yes, I felt human, but there was a quality about me I still felt I had. Not a personality thing, I still had all that, but something else. Suddenly, I knew what it was. I could peel my skin. Why? Well, I tried it and got my answer.
I was still part animatronic. I had an endoskeleton instead of bones and it was attached to this watch, permanently stuck on my. hand. Usually on Humans, this kind of accessory would be able to be taken off. This however was different.
For one, it didn’t have the time on it. It was a charge of energy. Like, right now it read 98%. Every time I moved, the green bar across the empty battery showing the energy turned red. So this was how much power I had. I assumed there was something to replenish it. I knew just what. I slowly and silently creeped backstage, peeking behind me every once-in-a-while checking for Freddy. I didn’t even want Bonnie or Chica to see me. They’d worry. So, I tried staying completely unseen.
Once I reached backstage I found what I was looking for. Cans upon cans of oil. Just incase the animatronics lost energy so bad that batteries couldn’t fix it. There was also a convenient empty bag no one had purchased. I’d put oil in there and bring it with me. There were so many cans. I popped one open and chugged it. It worked. It replenished my energy. I started stuffing them into my bag.
To late did I realize my mistake, and I was caught. I was being to loud stuffing them. I had gotten about fifteen cans in when I heard loud footsteps coming backstage. Footsteps that heavy could only belong to Freddy. Crap. I was dead. I slipped behind the cans hoping he wouldn’t find me. And, he didn’t. It worked. He didn’t even check behind there. He came in, looked around and walked out. He wasn’t very bright.
After I heard him far enough away, I walked through the shadows, and to the entrance. There was what I was looking for. The cash register. I knew the code by heart. I could hear far, and employee’s didn’t feel like keeping things quiet. Quiet enough for me anyway.
So, I quickly put in the code 1-7-4-7-2 and it opened. I took all the twenties and ran. I can’t believe they hadn’t previously emptied it out. They never do, anyway.
I quickly blew the place a kiss, and ran out the door. Simple as that. I was free. Or was I? I turned around giving the place one last glance and as I did I saw Freddy. He was looking out the glass window, anger upon his face. I felt a chill run down my spine. He was cussing under his breathe. Or, so I assumed. He looked at me again, and began to bang his fists against to window. Thats when I madly dashed out the parking lot, and far from the place. I was done with it. I was free.
