It is their last day in LA. They were all sadden by it but, they wanted to make the most out of it. They decided to go to the beach one last time on the west coast. After they had some breakfast they all went upstairs to go change into the proper clothes for the beach. They all got ready, grabbed whatever they were bringing with them and they were off to the beach. As they got to the beach they yet again were looking for a section that didn't have as many people as the rest of the beach. It took some time to find it but, once they did they walked over to it and set all of their things down. As time went by they just hung out, tanned, swam, played and volleyball for hours. Although Anna wasn't a fan of large bodies of water, she still got into the water and played around. Although the farthest she went was to a little bit above her waist/mid stomach. Most of the time she was just splashing the other four it's water, causing a water fight to break out. After some time they started to get hungry so Alex and Payton went to go get food and bring it back. They were gone for around 30 minutes and as they got back they gave out the food and started to dig in. After they ate and threw their trash away, they just chilled on the beach for a bit. When it reached about 6 o'clock, Alex and Anna knew they needed to get back to the house to pack. However Payton and Jackson refused to leave just yet. They each grabbed their girls hands and took them on a walk as the sun was setting. They just watched how the sky was changing colors and how the last bit of light was creating shadows. They were walking across the beach, feelings the sand against their feet and the water, occasionally, hitting their legs was putting them at such ease. After about 20 minutes they agreed to leave the beach and go back home. When they got back the girls thought they had to pack their things but, the boys had other plans..

But they didn't think right now was the time to tell the girls the plan so they decided that in the morning they would tell the girls their plans. Jackson and Payton were hanging out in the family room just watching things on their phones. While Alex and Anna were upstairs packing their bags, getting ready to leave tomorrow and go back home. After they were done packing they went downstairs and just hung out with the boys. After about a hour or so they started to get very tired and headed upstairs to go to sleep.

*next morning

When Anna woke up she clung onto Jackson. Not wanting to leave him at all, just wanting to stay in his arms forever. Jackson just held her tight and let her lay on, almost, top of him. He ran his hand through her hair and just gently talked to her. Seeing Anna like that broke Jackson. He just wanted to tell her the surprise. He reached over to the side table and grabbed his phone, pulling up Payton's contact and texting him, asking if he could tell the girls now. Jackson texted Payton but, he was still asleep. Alex had woken up a couple minutes before Jackson had texted Payton. She was laying with her head on his chest and her legs were tangled with his. Their hands were laced together as she rubbed circles on his hand. She was just thinking. She knew that this wouldn't be the last time she saw Payton over the summer. But she'd miss their privacy and being tangled together all night and waking up to kisses. She let a tear roll down her cheek onto Payton's shirt.

As she continued to think, her demons got the best of her.
What if this is last time she sees Payton?
What if he dumps me for someone prettier? What if he ghosts me and never talks to me again?
She began lightly shaking as more tears rolled down her cheek. The movement causing Payton to wake up, looking at Alex to see if she was the one moving. As he looked at her he saw all the tears on her face and hugged her tightly.
"what's wrong baby?" he asks as he ran his hand through her hair.
"i'm just afraid that after this trip you'll leave me and never talk to me again and dump me for someone prettier and that your fans like." She said still crying.
"Alex. Look at me." He said and they both sat up.
But she didn't look at him so, he gently put his hand under her chin and lifted her head up to have her eyes meet his own.
"i love you. And I will not leave you. Because you are gorgeous and funny and smart and your the only girl I want. Okay?" He said holding one of her hands.
"i love you too." She cried some more but, this time of happiness.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly before kissing him. After she calmed down, Payton checked his phone and saw Jackson's message. He agreed that he could not keep this secret any longer. Quickly sending a text back saying to meet in the family room. Payton quickly made sure that Alex was for sure okay. Walking down to the family room seeing Jackson and Anna already there. Alex went to sit next to Anna. While Jackson got up and joined Payton next to the television.
"So we have some news, you want the good or bad?" Payton said while shifting his weight to his left foot.
"Uhm bad" they both said in a questioning tone.
"So you all have to deal with us for some more time." Jackson said which left the girls confused as ever.
"The good news is that we might have actually made this trip for a month. Not two weeks! So we made you pack for nothing." Payton said while looking Alex in the eyes. Wanting to see her reaction to this lovely news.
Alex and Anna's jaws dropped.
"NO WAY!" Alex said and jumped up.
"IS THIS A PRANK?" Anna added.
"no we promise it's not!" The boys said together.
The girls jumped up and hugged and kissed their boys. They were all so excited but, also hungry. So they agreed to go to IHOP. Walking out to the car and starting the small drive to the restaurant. Alex and Jackson got chicken and waffles, Anna got birthday cake pancakes, and Payton got french toast. After they ate they went back to the boardwalk because Alex missed the beautiful view. The two girls were just talking about how they have been so lucky with these boys. How they can't believe they call them theirs. Just wondering how this all came to be. While they were talking the boys were a bit behind them. Almost talking about the same things. All four of them were just confused but, so glad they found each other. Jackson and Payton went to go get them all ice cream while the girls took some pictures. As the girls finished they were just talking.
"i'm just really glad they're ours." Anna sighed happily.
When Alex remembered what happened this morning.
"PAYTON TOLD ME HE LOVES ME!" She half shouted, getting a couple stares from people. Luckily the boys didn't hear it.
"no way! Congratulations! Do you love him back?" Anna replied.
"of course I do. He's so good to me. And he's nice and funny and hot." Alex said trailing off.
"i wonder if Jackson loves me. I think I love him, but i'm so scared of being hurt." Anna said rubbing her arm.
"hey, Jackson is a good guy. He won't hurt you. And even with the little chance that he would, i'd kill him. But I know he's really into you and wouldn't do that. Have you seen the way he looks at you?? He has to be crazy to not be in love with you." Alex said and pulled Anna into a hug.
As if on cue, when the hug was over the boys showed up with their ice cream. When Jackson gave Anna her ice cream he noticed something was wrong. Not wanting to put her in the spotlight he just decided to ask later. But he still wanted to do something in the moment. He put his arm around her waist and pulled her to him, she was now pressed against his side.  They had just had plain ole chocolate ice cream or cookies and cream. They enjoyed the cold goodness but, after a couple minutes it had started to melt so they had to finish them quickly. After they finished their ice cream they just walked around some more. Watching the water crash against the sand. Payton and Alex were walking ahead of Jackson and Anna with their hands intertwined. Every once in a while Payton would lean over and kiss Alex's cheek. You had to be blind to not see all of the love that was radiating off of them. When Jackson and Anna were behind them, out of ear shot. He gently held her hand even tighter then before and asked her,
"Babe, what's wrong? I noticed you seemed off earlier." He said while glancing at her.
"I don't know, I'm just scared I guess." She mumbled while looking down and kicking the sand.
That worried Jackson so he stopped walking and grabbed her shoulders.
"Why are you scared? Did something happen?" When Anna didn't looked up he got a bit more worried.
"Look at me." Jackson quietly said while placing his hand underneath her chin.
Pushing her head up so she was forced to look at him.
"I just, i, I don't want to be hurt. Nothing this good has happened to me before." Anna said while her eyes were full of tears.
Jackson didn't know what to say so he just pulled her into a tight hug. After a few minutes he said,
"I will never hurt you intentionally. If I ever do, so God strike me dead. I love you Anna, I can't stand seeing you hurt." This shocked Anna.
"i-i-i love you too Jackson" She said back while smiling. Her mood changed completely.
Jackson wiped her tears away. After Anna and Jackson had their adorable little moment, they caught back up with Payton and Alex. They all just walked along the beach as the sun set.
"let's swim" Alex said.
"we don't have any swim suits" Jackson responded.
"so? Let's just swim!" Alex exclaimed.
She ran into the ocean fully clothed - after she took her shoes off.
"you're fucking crazy!" Anna shouted.
"that's what I love about her." Payton said after he took his shoes and shirt off and ran into the ocean too.
Anna was a little cold, and didn't want to get in, so Jackson stayed with her. They just laid on the sand staring at the sky. Watching all of the stars, trying to make shapes out of them. Payton and Alex were splashing each other when Payton went under the water. Alex was scared for a minute thinking he might have drowned, she started calling his name. Then she felt something wrap around her and she jumped. It was Payton. He was holding her waist and pulled her closer to him. She kissed him, then splashed water in his face.
"you scared me I thought you were gonna drown!" She yelled.
"are you doubting my swimming skills" Payton said while his arms were still wrapped around Alex.
"Of course I am not." Alex said while moving a bit closer to Payton, if that was possible.
Alex laid her head on his chest and just listened to the waves crashing against itself and Paytons breathing. They stayed like that for a good amount of time. Payton was resting his chin on Alex's head. When her arms around him loosened grip and he heard little snores he knew she was asleep. He fixed her arms around his neck and put her legs around his waist. He held her tight as he walked out of the water. He found Anna and Jackson cuddling, asleep on the sand with Jackson hoodie across them. Payton grabbed his phone and ordered an uber. He kicked Jackson and said,
"wake up bro I got an uber. It should be here soon. Let's get the stuff together and go back."
Jackson got up, carefully letting go of Anna.
Payton didn't wanna sit Alex down to risk waking her up, so Jackson handed Payton his shirt, shoes, and phone. Then put Alex's shoes in the bag she was carrying and handed it to Payton. When the uber got there Jackson picked up Anna, after slipping his hoodie on her and they got it. As soon as they got home they went to their rooms and passed out.
