The Flash: The Sparks of Love (REBOOT)

Chapter Three

Barry went to StarLabs to see if Catlin had anything on how the bats were mutated, Barry went inside and went over to Catlin and Cisco. "Do you have anything?" Catlin nodded. "Yes I have security camera footage of someone going to the zoos and releasing the bats then some how leading them."

"Yeah that's not creepy." Cisco says while walking over. "Ok so what? is count Dracula on the loose?" Barry asked as he crossed his arms. "No, it's a metahuman able to control bats." Cisco looked unnerved by this. "Don't worry, Cisco. They're just bats." Cisco looked at Barry. "Yeah, seven foot tall man killing bats!"

"Cisco I've dealt with worse, ok? remember Zoom? I gave up my speed to save Wally...and living without it wasn't easy and it wasn't easy fighting Zoom." Cisco sighed. "Yeah well that was Zoom, these are huge bats." Catlin looked at Cisco. "Cisco stop, don't argue with Barry." Cisco looked hurt that Catlin didn't take his side.

"Don't worry we will find a way to beat this Metahuman and his...minions." Cisco nods still doubtful. Barry sped off to work and on his way he picked up some donuts then went to Ayva's desk. "Hey." He smiled, Ayva looked up from her computer and smiled. "Hey Barry, are those donuts?" Ayva stood up from her seat as Barry set the box of donuts down. "Uh yeah, there are chocolate covered ones in there and some glazed ones and ones that are just chocolate." Ayva opened the box and took a chocolate one out and ate it. "Mmm that's good." Barry seemed pleased with that.

"Uh hey I was meaning to ask you something." Ayva looked at Barry with donut crumbs on the corners of her mouth. "um...would...you like to get dinner with me?" Ayva gave him a questioning look. "Like a date?" Barry pushed his hands into his pockets. "Yeah- uhm! I- no! not a date." Barry rubbed the back of his neck.

Ayva nods. "Sure, what time and where?" Barry thought for a moment. "um...Jitters." Barry shrugged. "We can meet there at seven." Ayva sets down the donut back inside the box. "Alright, I'll meet you there tonight." She smiled and sat down and resumed her work. Barry got gitty and happy and went to his lab and smiled wide as he ran his fingers through his hair.
