Blaze x reader

Part 1

I walked into Pheonix Drop high on my own. The only person I knew here was Aphmau, we had been friends since she moved to where I lived when she was younger. A year ago she moved back to Pheonix Drop for a change of scenery. During the summer, my family moved here too.

I was nervous about starting at a new school in sophomore year but I was also exited. My E/t/c ears were up and my matching tail swayed lightly in the September breeze.

I stopped next to the fountain and took a few steps back so I could look at it properly. On my third step I tripped over someone and fell. I braced myself for the impact which never came. Instead I felt a warm hand on my back, stopping me from falling.

I opened my eyes to see a werewolf boy with bright red hair and black ears, his eyes were two different colours, one was emerald green and the other was sapphire blue.

"Are you ok?" He asked. I realized that I had been staring at him and blushed I jumped out of his arms and smoothed my uniform which had been creased.

"Y-yeah I'm fine!" I said, I was nervous so I pulled my chancla out of my bag. I had been exposed to Sylvanna from a young age and she had told me never to go anywhere without a chancla. She told me to use it to 'get rid of boys' but I only use it for protection. The boy looked at my chancla which I held in my left hand.
"Why do you have a shoe?" He asked, seeming confused.
"It's a chancla, and it's for self defense." I said. "I always have it with me."
"So you're threatening me with a shoe?" He asked.
"Not unless you want to hurt me." I said.

"Hey Y/n! Who's this?" Asked Aphmau coming over to us.
"Oh hi Aph! I don't know him, I fell and he caught me." I said.
"Now she's threatening me with a chancla." Said Redhead.
"Y/n, he's probably a nice guy, maybe introduce yourselves!" She said then she turned and ran.

"So uh, what's your name?" He asked with a smile.
"Oh, it's Y/N, what about you?" I replied.
"My name's Blaze! Nice to meet you!" He said, I smiled, Blaze...
"So uh, are you a freshman? I haven't seen you before?" He asked.
"No, I'm a sophomore but I moved here recently and I'm new to the school!" I said.
"Oh right... So, do you have your schedule yet?" He asked, putting his hand on his bag strap, I put my chancla back in my bag, feeling more comfortable around him.
"No, not yet, you?" I asked.
"Nope!" He said "hey, let's go together!"
"I'm cool with that!" I said "you can show me the way!
He laughed then lead me to the front desk,which I probably could have found on my own but it's nice to have a friend, wait, is he my friend?
"Hi, we're here to get our schedules?" Blaze said to the lady behind the desk, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"what are you names?" She asked us
"Blaze and Y/n." He replied.
Me and Blaze waited a second before she handed us or schedules.
"Hmm, I'm in room 304 for homeroom." I said looking over the schedule. I save Blaze's eyes light up.
"Hey me too!" He said, sounding excited
"Cool! Let's go." I said. We headed into homeroom and took seats next to each other at the back. I saw Aph wasn't in my homeroom which I was kinda sad about but at least I had a friend. Is he my friend? I asked myself again.
"Hey, Y/n?" Asked Blaze.
"Yes Blaze?" I replied.
"Are we... Friends?" He asked.
"Yes?" I said, I was worried that wasn't the right response but Blaze gave me a huge grin with his eyes closed, it was really cute! I felt myself blushing so I turned away from him.
"Y/n? Are you ok?" He asked. I turned back and he looked confused, I blushed again and smiled like he had before.
"I'm fine!" I said, I opened my eyes to see him turned away from me. When he turned back there was a light pink on his cheeks I gave him an 'i know what you did' sort of look and he did the same to me, I blushed then we started laughing.

"Ok everyone! Time to head down to the club event!" Said our homeroom teacher who was called Me Whitehouse. No-one listened so he rang a small golden counter bell to get our attention. It made me jump and which made Blaze's tail stand up. I silently laughed as Mr Whitehouse repeated what he had said.

We headed down to the club event which was at the field. I spotted Aph at the help booth.
"Hey Blaze I'm gonna go talk to Aph!" I said.
"Ok, see you later then!" He said.
"Wait, what lesson do you have after lunch?" I asked him as he turned to walk away.
"Oh I have math, then lunch then werewolf class, you?" He asked.
"Wait what, I have lunch, creative writing then werewolf class." I said, "why do we have different lunch, did they mess up one of our schedules?" He laughed at me and I gave him a confused look.
"There are three separate lunch times, we just have different ones!" He said with a laugh.
"Oh... B-but what if no one I know is with me?" I said.
"Just sit next to someone and start a conversation." He said, "Now go talk to Aph." I nodded and ran towards the help booth.
"Hey Aph!" I called. She turned to face me.
"Hey Y/n! How'd it go with Redhead?" She asked. (A/N Aph doesn't know blaze at this point)
"Um, he's nice... We're friends now." I said, "what lunch do you have?"
"Second, you?" My face fell.
"Aww, I have first, guess I'm eating alone then." I said sadly.
"Don't worry, I think my friend Katelyn has that lunch, look for her, she has Arctic blue hair and blue eyes." She said.
"Ok I will!" I said, just then a girl with dark skin and black hair came up behind Aph and tapped her shoulder.
"Hey Aphmau are you mentoring this student?" She asked.
"No but-" Said Aph.
"Good because I have a job for you." She grabbed Aphmau's arm and dragged her off.
"Sorry I really need her!" Shouted the girl as she half dragged, half lead Aphmau behind the bleachers.

This story will be updated less often than the Ein x reader, mainly because I've basically already written most of the plot already for it, it's just cringy so I'm remaking it XD! And I haven't got as many ideas for this one!
