I'll buy you a new one

  Kara Danvers was your usual person, she woke up normally at 8 a.m., not too early not too late, right in time for work. She woke up, had her breakfast, and then she showered, all in time to get to work.

Lena Luthor was the CEO of L Corp, she had way more things to do the day before and she, like usual, fell asleep in her office. Her assistant, Jess, woke her up in the morning when she walked in suddenly going "Miss Luthor your 10 a.m. meeting-" she is cut short by the sight in front of her, Lena Luthor laying her forehead on a stack of papers. She just smiled at the familiar sight, she really had to teach her friend/ boss to go to sleep at the right time and to actually have a personal life. "Miss Luthor" she whispered, "wake up" Lena slightly jumped at the noise, she did not expect to see Jess so early, she didn't even remember falling asleep, she really had to set up an alarm to leave work, "sorry Jess I don't remember falling asleep, let me just go get some coffee and I'll be feeling better than before." Jess gave her a disapproving look but didn't push further.

Kara Danvers was rushing to go to Noonan's to get her boss, Cat Grant, her coffee because she forgot to do it in the early morning, she got lost in thought while walking to work. She was rushing to Noonan's, she crashed with somebody when she saw the person's face she couldn't think straight. At first, she was expecting the other person to be mad because she wasn't looking in front of her and she was going super fast, she wasn't being careful, but the sight in front of her caught her off guard, she was beautiful, her emerald green eyes were out of this world, she couldn't say a word. So, she just stood there opening and closing her mouth not knowing what to say, not being able to speak. When the beautiful emerald eyes looked away, she shook her head trying to concentrate and she apologized "I'm so so so so sorry I wasn't paying attention, it's my fault- I'm sorr- I wasn't watching where I was going." Kara said immediately. " it's quite alright I didn't have the best night's sleep so I'm really distracted right now just don't worry, but I should be the one apologizing look at your shirt, it's all my fault I'm sorry. Are you not burning or something doesn't it hurt?"  Kara was quick to answer because of those beautiful emerald eyes she didn't even notice how hot her skin felt and said "it's so hot, ah" Lena took the napkin she had in her hand and tried to clean her shirt, till she noticed what she was doing and she quickly stopped cause she was touching Kara's chest, she backed away awkwardly and she gave her the napkin, so Kara can wipe herself. The stain was still there so Lena offered to buy her a new shirt. " it's okay I can buy you a new shirt, actually, I can buy you the whole collection if you want it's no problem it's all my fault. Now you're probably going to have to go to work with this, let's just go to the store right now if you have time." Kara then said "no no no. I'll just go home and change it's going to be quick. I just have to get my boss this coffee or she's going to kill me."

" Well then, let me at least buy you the coffee, I'll go with you to Noonan's, which is where I was going anyways, and buy the coffee for your boss."

"Well, I'll accept one of the offers, I'll let you accompany me, okay? but not buying the coffee, I'll pay for it myself."

Lena was going to protest but she saw the blonde woman's face and she saw there was nothing to discuss. They started walking towards Noonan's and Lena suddenly noticed she doesn't know the blonde woman's name and the blonde doesn't know hers. " I'm Lena by the way, Lena Luthor." Lena quickly finished hoping she didn't catch the last name.

"Well, hello Lena Luthor, nice to meet you, I'm Kara Danvers."

Oh, she did catch it but didn't react...that's a first. "Well, Kara Danvers Noonan's is just around the corner..."

When they arrived, they waited in a booth in the corner. When the waiter brought the coffee, Kara was about to take out her money but the waiter quickly said " Don't worry about it, miss Luthor has it covered" Kara narrowed her eyes at Lena and said, "When?"

Lena shrugged and said " I know the owner of the place" with a shrug and a smug smile on her face.

"Well thank you, Lena, but I must get to work. See you around?"

"I have a feeling I will..." Lena said with a smirk on her face.
