Days passed and Lena and Kara heard nothing of each other but that didn't mean they didn't stop thinking about each other. 

Kara was excited when she entered Catco because her first article was just published, the article about Lena Luthor. She was also terrified, but not because of how it may be received by the public but how Lena was going to react to it. But Kara knew she only wrote the truth.

When she stepped off the elevator Winn went straight up to her and told her " Karaaaa, you have an admirer" he said in a singsong voice.

Kara walked into her office and it was filled of flowers, and not just any flowers, Liliac's which were Kara's favorite and also represent the beginning of love or a first love, but Lena probably didn't know that and was probably a big coincidence.

When she walked up to her desk she couldn't take the smile off her face. She noticed a note on her desk.

"I read the article. Thank you. please come to my office at noon so I can properly thank you.

Kara just couldn't stop smiling and she didn't know why. Winn noticed and said " uuuuu so who are they from?"

"Well, Winn if you really need to know, they're from Lena."

"Lena as in Lena Luthor, billionaire, CEO of LuthorCorp and a couple fortune 500 companies, Lena Luthor??"

"Yes, Lena Luthor. Are you one of the people who judge her without knowing her?"

"WHAT! Me? No, I'm literally her biggest fan. Have you seen the technological advancements and all the research and help she has given to the scientific community and the world? I honestly wanna date her. But the question is why is Ms. Lena Luthor filling your office with flowers, Kara?"

When Winn said that it made her feel something weird in her chest but she ignored it. "Well, as you know I just did my first article on her, and she said she read and liked it, so I imagine that's why."

"Right Kara, because people just fill reporters offices with flowers, I mean it would be great if they did, but they don't."

"Well, the thing is we might have met before-"

"What! Kara, I'm your best friend you should tell me these things. Like if I ever met Superman you would be the first to know"

"We met outside a coffee shop the other day, I might have spilled coffee all over her," Kara said sheepishly.

"Omg, that is so cute. That's like the beginning of a RomCom."

"Winn, it's not like that. I don't even like her like that." Kara said rolling her eyes but couldn't keep the blush from her face.

"Right, Kara. I've seen pictures of her online, and even I can see she's extremely attractive and I don't even swing that way." Winn said with a smirk on his face.

"Winn, I think I heard Ms. Grant calling you. Get out of here and stop bothering me."

Winn left but she knew that he was persistent and wouldn't stop bothering her with it.

Kara kept working but just couldn't stop looking at the clock waiting for it to be noon.
