Chapter 16

Jungkook's P.O.V--

It has been four days since we came up with the plan to get rid of Min SEO once and for all. The picnic is in a couple of minutes and I am seriously dreading what I have to do. Even though it will help with getting rid of the witch for good, I am seriously doubting that I should go on with my plan. I take a deep breath before heading down stairs.

I walk into the kitchen and see Taehyung. He looks absolutely gorgeous even though he is just wearing a simple red and black striped shirt and ripped black jeans. He laughs as he noticed me checking him out.

"You really should stop looking at me like that. The others will be here soon and I it's getting hard to hold myself back."

My cheeks heat up, how can he think of something so bad that doesn't sound so bad if it's the two of us doing it. I so just want him to do what he wants right now even though everyone will be here soon.

I shake my head and tell myself to get a grip. God, he is making this really hard for me. I clear my throat and walk to the fridge.

"You ready to get this plan on with?" I ask.

He hugs me from behind and hums.

"As soon as we get rid of Min Seo, I have a surprise for you."

I gulp as I feel him kiss my neck.

"A surprise? What is it?" I ask.

He chuckles and pulls away, "you have to wait until this whole mess blows over."

I nod. There are so many thoughts going through my head about what the surprise is. Would I still be able to get it if I do this to Taehyung

I take a breath after Taehyung leaves. It's gonna hurt, that I know. But I just hope he can understand why I am going to do what I have to do.

"Knock knock, you ok JK?" Hoon asks.

I nod, "just debating on if this will be worth it."

Hoon nods, "it must break your heart."

"It does. I love him so much and it kills me that I'll have to break hyung's heart. But it's the only way to get Min Seo off him for good."

Just then the bell rings. I look at Hoon, "go to the backyard, I'll bring Mi Rae out soon."

He nods and heads out. Taehyung comes down the stairs.

Taehyung's P.O.V---

I hear the doorbell ring. Great, the nightmare begins. I smile at Jungkook before opening the door. Min Seo jumps at the sight of me.

"Oh Taehyungie, I'm so glad you invited me today." She says and Mi Rae clears her throat.

"Ah, I ment us. I'm glad you invited us." She corrects herself.

I try to look at Jungkook but he is no where to be seen. Things have been weird with him. Ever since Hoon came up with this picnic plan, Jungkook has been very distant.

I just hope things work out in the end so I can propose to him. I made up my mind a while ago, I decided that I can't live without him. I need him in my life forever, I want to marry him.

"Yeah, it's good that you could make it. Mi Rae, I think Jungkook went outside. He wanted to talk to you." I say to her.

Mi Rae walks out and Min Seo was about to follow when I stood in front of her.

"I need your help," I say, "there are some decorations upstairs in the attic. Would you help me find them?"

She nods her head, "of course Taehyungie."

I start walking upstairs with Min Seo following me. I just hope I can get her alone enough so Hoon can talk to Mi Rae.

"So what are we looking for exactly?" She asks.

"Fireworks. We got a lot a few days ago and put them up here. I just forget where."

She laughs, "you're so forgetful sometimes Taehyungie."

She comes close and runs her hands over my arm.

I pull back, "what are you doing?"

"Just feeling your muscles, they were one of my favorite parts about you."

I scoff, "other than my fame?"

"That's not how it was Taehyungie. I cared for you a lot." She says.

"I thought I did too. I was just distracted for the time I was with you to see how I actually feel."

"You don't love Jungkook. It's just a phase Taehyungie, and once you realize that, you will come running back to me."

I laugh, "I won't ever come back to you. You're just a bitch and only care about yourself."

"You'll see, Jungkook will just push you away when he's done with you. Once you realize that, I'll come comfort you with open arms."

"Go to hell Min Seo." I say as I pull the fireworks out of the box and head back down stairs and head outside.

It was four hours worth of Min Seo sticking to me like glue. I couldn't even cuddle with Jungkook, that's how she wouldn't leave me alone.

I could see the hurt in his eyes whenever he saw Min Seo cling to me. It hurt me to see him hurting. But I had to bare it until they left, which was a couple minutes ago.

"So, what did Mi Rae say?" I ask Hoon.

He looks at me, "she said no. I'm sorry Taehyung but I don't know what to do know."

"It's ok Hoon, at least we tried. Go home, I text if we think of anything else." I say.

He nods and leaves. I see Jungkook sitting on the couch and head over to him.

"So, what now?" He asks.

I shake my head, "no clue, but I won't give up. I just know that there is a way to get Min Seo off of our backs."

Jungkook smiles but it's not one of his cute bunny smile. It's a bitter smile.

"I don't think I can do this anymore Hyung." He says, voice cracking.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"She won't give up and our plan to get Mi Rae to help failed. I can't keep pretending to be ok when I'm not."

"What are you saying Jungkook?" I ask, scared of where he is going.

"Let's break up."
