CALVIN
I massaged her booty as her breathing slowed down. She was falling asleep, but I didn't mind it. I was tired, too.
Would it be wrong of me to go to the studio right now? I glanced at the clock. 12:42 am.
I sighed and shook my head before turning off our lights.
It'd be better if i stayed here with her, I been slipping and she sees it. If I wanna stay on her good side, like this... I better step my game up.
I can't believe it got to this, 'cause I really love her.
HENNY
I rolled over onto my back and pushed hair out of my face. Rubbing my eyes, I woke up to sunlight shining in them.
And an empty bed.
"I'm getting way to used to this." I breathed propping myself up on my elbows and looking around.
I spotted Rico sleeping on my vanity chair and I smiled even though I shouldn't. Pulling the sheets off of me I hopped out of bed and walked towards the bathroom as my arms casually went up on the air to stretch my body again.
I looked in the mirror and made a face. Gross.
I looked pretty drained but it was true, I did feel tired still. Groggy.
I peed and brushed my teeth before picking an outfit. "It's finally hot today." I smiled picking up a snakeskin romper and some brown fur slides.
I undressed then got dressed and headed to my vanity where I brushed my hair into a high ponytail as Rico sat on my lap. Once ready I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs to the smell of fresh flowers.
I gasped when I saw red and white roses all over our main floor. I walked towards the kitchen and plucked a rose, smelling it and biting my bottom lip. I noticed a card waiting to be read.
Henny, My wife:
I'm so sorry about recently. The last thing I would want to do is to neglect you, honestly. I also hope your not upset that I wasn't there when you woke up. I wanted to be there but I waited until 12 and you stayed sleeping, lol. I never woke you because I figured you were tired and I hope it worked out to surprise you way better than I would have. I hope your favorite things help us get back on track .
Love,
Daddy.I smiled at how he signed off and pressed the card to my lips before I began reorganizing all the flowers to the dining table, cleaning space for me to lay back and put my feet up in the den.
It felt good to know that he still cared. I FaceTimed him.
After the third ring I grew impatient, making faces in the camera until he answered. "Yea you know better." I arched my eyebrow at him.
He rolled his eyes before smiling. "Don't say that like i won't tear you up."
"You won't, but I wanted to say thank you for the roses... my all time favorites." I smiled feeling the heat rise in my cheeks.
He looked at me, biting his lip "Baby, it's nothing. Anything to see you smile. Are you blushing?" His eyes widened at me.
