Wow I haven't posted on this story since 2016 lol. Lemonade Mouth is a classic DCOM from 2011, so this is very nostalgic for me.
Anyway, I feel like this relates to the peculiar kids because although they aren't actually a band, they're still a close group of friends who care for each other deeply.
"You used to brave the world,
All on your own.
Now we won't let you go,
Go it alone."
I mean, come on. It's obvious isn't it? All the kids were on their own before Miss Peregrine found them. After they moved in with her and met everyone else, they became family and won't leave each other behind.
"Be who you wanna be,
Always stand tall.
Not gonna let you fall."
This part is basically screaming: STAY PECULIAR.
