So our first greyhound was Charlie he was big for a boy greyhound and we got him from dog's trust Snetterton he had to ride in the boot of the car every time we went out. Charlie was very food orientated and when we went to give him his preventative shots we found out why, he was underweight! And dog's trust had given us the wrong measurement of food to give him. We knew none of his racing details, all we knew was he was born in Ireland from the tattoos in each of his ears. Sadly he passed from a Stoke after having him for only three months. It broke me and I sat in my bedroom for three days, only leaving to go to the bathroom and eat. Death is no stranger to my family as we have lost chickens, birds, rabbits, Guinea pigs and even my own brother. It was like loosing my brother all over again. I believe that Charlie and jake (my brother) are watching over us.
