"Bitch show the fuck out!" My best friend Ge'Yanni screamed over the loud music.

We were at our last senior party of the year, my dad decided it would be a good idea to throw me a surprise party after graduation which was a couple hours ago. Almost the entire senior class was there so my back yard was packed. People were in the pool, some with just their feet in drinking and smoking there were a few girls dancing and boys watching, some to the side chatting and playing games, the usual at Atlanta summer parties.

"Girl you crazy, you know my dad will kill me if he saw me twerking." I laughed taking a long drag from the blunt before passing it to her.

"You right, not to mention your "brother" over there. Yanni said using air quotes. I followed her stare and my eyes landed on my God brother Zave making his way through the house, I rolled my eyes laughing.

Ge had the biggest crush ever on Zave but she never said anything because one, she had a boy friend and two, he was four years older than we were. Ge tried making small talk to make it seem like she didn't see him coming so I played along until he flopped down next to me.

"Caine, what's up ma congrats on finishing high school and getting into Spelman, I'm proud of you lil sis." Wrapping his strong arms around my shoulder, Zave kissed my forehead then passed me a long black box.

"Thank you brother, I told you-you didn't have to get me anything." I laughed trying to get the box he had snatched back. "Then you don't want this, I can take it back."

"No Zave I want it, thank you brother!" I grabbed his neck kissing his cheek until he gave in. "That's what I thought, and don't think I forgot about you Yanni, I'm proud of you too for getting into to Georgia Tech." He reached in his pocket pulling out an identical box handing it to her.

"Thank you Zave, you know." He cut her off saying, "But I wanted too, now just open the box and love the gift." We did just that.

A 10k solid gold rope chain with a diamond encrusted B hanging from it, I couldn't help the smile on my face. It was beautiful, Yanni had the exact one only her letter was a F. I loved it.

"Thank you Zave this is nice as hell, you got us matching best friend chains!" I expressed allowing him to put it around my neck, Yanni doing the same.

"I know close y'all are and I just wanted to get you both something nice so," he shrugged leaving it there.

"I love it Zave, thank you." Yanni said staring into the man eyes and shit, her smile was so damn big it was out shining the sun. "It's nothing really, y'all family." I nodded watching Yanni before I busted out laughing. "Zave this girl is literally drooling over you and sitting here calling her family, she wanna be more than family." I said watching Yanni's smile drop into a shocked expression.

I busted out laughed and of course Zave did too, "Oh my god Caine really, why you tell a lie like that, I was just thanking him just like you." I shrugged knowing she was lying.
