"Vacation, all I ever wanted. Vacation, had to get away. Vacation, meant to be spent alone."- the go go's
You are here.
I can't stand seeing your face,
It makes me want to throw up.
You're gross,
But I can't let my vacation go to waste,
Maybe.
Please don't look this way.
Please just let me drink my alcohol.
Please just let me have a good time,
You ruin everything,
You sit down in the seat next to me.
"Whats going on?" you ask lazily.
I want to punch you.
How can you be so relaxed?
"What are you doing here?", I ask.
I sip my margarita,
I will myself to relax
"Business Meeting", you say.
You smile widely at me.
I can't stand you.
You ask me questions,
You care too much,
You try to hold my hand,
You annoy me.
Its irritating,
I know how happy you feel.
I hate you.
I love you.
It is a precarious balance between the two.
I chug my drink.
I slam down my money on the counter.
"Keep the change", I say.
I try to leave,
You grab my arm.
You cheekily smile.
God I want to punch you!
"Meet me, tonight at 9pm", you say.
I move away.
"Over my dead body", I say.
You slip something inside my hand,
A hotel address.
We're at the same hotel,
Only different rooms,
Just my luck.
"Just think about it", you say.
I crumble up the paper.
I step into the warm air,
It is safe here.
The salty air is on my skin.
I walk along the beach.
The sand warms my feet.
On The Andaman Islands
I win a trip
A getaway
But now I wish I could just get away,
From you...
Why did you have to be here?
You stole my job,
You stole my heart,
You stole my dignity,
And now you're here,
Throwing it in my face.
I reach my hotel,
I take the elevator,
I reach my destination.
The door swings open.
"Addy, you came", you say.
"Nate, I shouldn't have", I say.
I step inside.
"I hate you" I whisper.
"I know", you say.
You close the door
You take a step forward.
"But I love you", you say jokingly.
I take a step backwards.
"I really hate you" I reiterate.
You close the space between us.
"Then why did you come?", you ask
I grab your face.
"I'm here to get back,
what you stole from me", I say.
"And what might that be?", you ask.
You pull me close.
"My heart, you jerk", I say.
I kiss your lips.
You taste like honey.
You gather me close.
"I knew you'd come", you state.
Your lips caress my neck.
You press kisses into my sweet spot.
You know me so well sexually.
You unbutton the clasp on my bra.
Your hands drift to my shorts.
"Shut up", I say.
I'm breathless.
I drown from your touch.
You lay me down on the bed.
We discard clothing,
And embrace each other.
