Chapter 15- He Knows

"Hey bro when are you gonna stop?"

I turned around to see Kaito on his bunk with half his body dangling from the bed.

"Well once he says it was a prank."

"But why'd you have to think like that too?"

"For the last time Kaito they have otaku senses, they can tell what I'm thinking."

"But I mean, what if he gives up on you?"

"Heh, I know him well enough his friends make a plan and he doesn't even know."

I knew him well enough. He can't move on from me, he needs a year to do that. Well I hope he's gonna tell me soon enough.

Kokichi POV

"WHAT!?"

I jumped at what Y/N suggested, that's suicide!

"C'mon Kokichi, just write a letter then put it on his desk, tell him the truth then vwalla!"

"Are you sure about that?"

"DID I STUTTER?!"

"Hnnghh, fine but you write the letter!"

"Glad we can make an agreement."

I went to my bed thinking of all the possible outcomes of her plan. Oh, she's my friend I can trust right?..well of course I can! But this just doesn't feel right. I wasn't scared I was petrified. What if Shuichi doesn't like me anymore? What should I do. What to do.What to do.What to do.What to do.What to do.What to do.What to do.

"Kokichi calm down you can do this! Just believe in yourself! He loves you so calm down!"

"I'm not scared of course I'm not, I'm petrified!"

"Calm down I wrote the letter, I'll put it on Shuichi's desk and all you have to do is talk."

"A-alright... I'll try."

"That's the spirit. Now go and sleep or else you'll get a heart attack tomorrow."

"Fine, fine,"

"Night."

"Moon."

LE TIME SKIPPY KICHI POV

I  woke-up earlier than everyone else. Made breakfast woke up Y/N ,left some food for Peko and Fuyuhiko. Y/N just brought her pancake with her and the letter. The hallways were still empty since no one is really up this early. Except for the prefects and such, we got in the classroom, no one was there even the teachers.

Y/N put tape on the letter and placed it on Shuichi's desk. I'm guessing she already texted, the crew. I'm still really nervous. A nervous that cannot be expressed in any other word but really, very, nervous.

To pass the time we played some chess, monopoly, and other board games we found in the classroom. We usually end with a tie but Y/N won monopoly.

"How do you even win this game I'm confuzzled."

"IT'S FREE REAL ESTATE!"

"Hahaha.. I already know."

Playing board games with Y/N really relaxes me. I almost forgot why we were here really early.

Almost. Until Shuichi came in I started panicking. We stopped playing board games, and switched to moral support hour. There is still 30 minutes left before class.

"I-I can't do this..."

Breath in, breath out, breath in, screw this! JUST BREATH!

"You can now come on we have to go Shuichi is already reading the letter."

I'm shaking, my pupils are dilated, I'm breathing heavily.

"O-k-k-ka-kay"

We walked to our destination, the roof top. She said I just have to wait there and she'll be hiding somewhere so she can see what's going on.

After 5 minutes or what seemed like a year of me heavily breathing and shaking, Shuichi came. I forced a smile on my face and I faced Shuichi.

"Hi Saihara-chan! Didn't expect you to actually come!"

"Hi Ouma-kun, you wanted to talk to me?"

My smile slowly dissappered but not fast enough so he would notice. Tears were building up my eyes but it won't fall, I won't let it.

"O-oh yeah, I w-was go-going to ta-talk about o-our br-break-up."

"What about it?"

Tears threatening to fall from eyes.

"I-it wa-s a p-p.."

"A what?"

I looked at the ground. Come on pull yourself together Kokichi Ouma!

"A p-pr-p"

"Ouma-kun calm down."

Damnit I was crying I looked up him my right had covering my face while my left on my chest trying ti slow down my heartbeat.

"It was a-a.."

"Calm down Ouma-kun you can tell me. Just breath."

"It wa-s a p-pr-an-k"

"A prank?"

"G-gone wr-wrong."

I uncovered my face to look at him smiling. Why is he smiling?

"Well it looks like I was right."

"H-huh?"

He pulled me into a hug and he let me cry onto his chest.

"I knew it was a prank."

"Wh-why didn't you say anything!?"

"I waited to see if you would come back to me. And I was right."

"I wa-was worried..."

I cried even more, I was happy. Really happy.

"I guess you want this now."

I looked up at him.

"Wh-"

I felt a pair of lips smack against mine. The kiss became more passionate, until we stopped for air.

"I missed you."

"I love you."

"Me too we should head to class Shuichi"

He nodded and I signalled Y/N to come out. She was right, he does love me.

We walked to class and opened the door, with Y/N behind us she walked in front of us.
And spoke,

"Their back at it again!"

The class cheered about our reunioun. Even Maki smiled just a little.

"The End. That's how I knew that your fathers will always stay together even if they seperate, they'll come back together."
