Picture of Hunter

--------------------------------

Fury woke up in the morning to her foal snoring. Her stomach hurt a little bit. Hunter woke up with tired eyes. They both hadn't had much sleep. Hunter followed his mother outside. Hunter walked slowly up to his mum and had a drink . Fury stared at her son with caring eyes. Hunter suckled quickly from his mum gulping all the milk. Fury waited patiently for her foal too suck her milk. After Hunters little feed Fury walked out of the cave. The once black skies now a light blue. The fluffy white clouds drifted by slowly. The golden coin of a sun let down sheets of light shining on the entrance of the rocky cave.  Fury looked behind her to see her  handsome colt step up beside her. A picture of elegance and grace together. Their black manes waved in the slight wind. His white little star on his forehead stood our from his small black body. The hills of green rose up from the ground like lumps on a flat surface. The spring grass was coming though the old dry browned stalks which swung in the wind.

In Furys mind she was trying to decide what to do. She was wondering if she should stay with Bruce or leave and raise Hunter herself. She had heard stories of stallions killing little foals because they had different dads. Her decision had to be made soon.

After finally choosing to run away to raise him by herself. She nudged Hunter in the opposite direction of the herd. Her foal couldn't run yet so they set off at a slowish pace. Taking a last glimpse of the herd the went down a dirt/clay path.

Fury and Hunter had been walking for a short while when they heard a rumble. Fury turned around to see what the rumble was but all she saw was a nightmare.
