Y/N's POVI sighed out throwing my head back spinning my chair around to look at the view of the city. The city was so beautiful, both day and night for many reasons. Sometimes I get so lost in it all, I just begin to feel small. I glanced at my watch to read the time before standing up. My Rolex read 12:43. I couldn't believe it was still so early. I slowly walked to the large window in my large office and placed a hand on my hip. Watching as traffic built up. Everyone probably either rushing to get back to work or leaving.
A gentle knock was heard before I turned back towards my door to see who was requesting entry into my office. Turning around, I licked my lips at the sight I had found standing on the other side of my glass door. Mr. Rhodes. One of the newest members to my company and the finest I might add. He was a dark skinned man with a beard and muscles to die for. He always kept himself neat and dressed up except for Casual Friday's which just so happened to be today. He was dressed in light blue jeans and a nice graphic sweater and he wore some nice Jordan's to complete his outfit. With my index finger, I motioned him to come in. As soon as he entered the room I could smell his signature scent. He always like cologne and soap which for me was a huge turn on. But no matter the amount, I always kept everything between us professional.
"Hello, ma'am." He spoke smiling widely exposing his perfectly Colgate teeth that I admired so much. He literally looked like he could be a Colgate model.
"What have I said about calling me ma'am? We're damn near the same age." I said sitting down in my chair still keeping eye contact.
"Oh yes, sorry. I know only a few years difference." He chuckled taking a seat in front of my desk.
"More like 2. Is there something I can help you with?" I asked leaning back a little.
"Actually, I came to see if there was anything you needed me to do today. Your assistant called out so I thought I'd take the opportunity to get to know who I'm working under. Can't work for a company I know nothing about right?" He sat still waiting for a response.
I held eye contact with him her a second unsure of if he was flirting or not. Because to my ears, I could've sworn I heard him put emphasis on the working UNDER me but I could never tell with him. Every meeting we have I feel like he's says or mentions things that sound semi sexual. Like once, we were all in a meeting going over a business plan to hook our next big fish. And he happily says "Well Ms. Y/L/N, I was thinking that we could stay late night and work hard y'know. I'm always here a little longer than everyone else so we could probably just knock this out easily as long as you come you know I'll come too." I nearly choked on my coffee and I thought I saw him smirk for a bit then he rushed to my side saying "Ma'am, are you okay? Choking on you coffee, or got something struck in your throat?" Which to me still sounded wrong like he could've worded it better but chose not to. I couldn't fully see his facial expression as he stood beside me rubbing my back but the energy radiating off of him was so intense afterwards I had to rush to my office and change underwear from how wet I had gotten.
I wasn't sure if he was being flirty or if I was hearing it wrong but since everyone brushed past it, so did I. There's even been times where I've been getting coffee from the break room (which I do because I'd rather see my assistant doing actual work than running coffee errands) and he brushed past my backside saying sorry while having on hand on my hip. His hand seemed to linger a lil bit as he waited for me to respond but I as I said his 'accident' was excused he smiled and removed his hand. So it could've just been my desires and lack of sexual life reaching at straws especially since he overtly flirts with all the women here which is about 75% of my company. He is so straightforward to them so I always doubt he'd not be with me as well.
