The two girls lie on their backs across the bed next to each other, in deep thought. Darcy's hands are pressed against her face covering her bruises . "Sadie, maybe we should tell everyone?" Darcy removes her hands from her face, rolling her head to look at Sadie.

"Do you want to be killed?" Sadie asks sitting up in the bed. Sadie has been friends with Darcy since the takeover of Hays. They sadly bonded over the lost of Alonzo. Sadie's brother.

"Well, what do you think we should do? Let everyone walk around believing Hazel is still locked away? I think it's time to start a riot around here."

"You're insane."

"This whole thing is insane."

Hays has everyone on strings like puppets. The reason being... they're all terrified of him. Everyone who's spoken out against him or retaliated has been punished in a very violent manner. From a beating to an execution.

Sadie sighs, playing with the ends of her blonde bob. Three soft knocks sound against the door and Sadie hesitantly goes to open it. She creaks it a jar, her shoulders relax when she sees Easton. She opens the door wide enough for him to slide in, before bolting it shut again.

"Hey," he mutters standing in the middle of the room. Darcy waves her hand, acknowledging his presence. "You guys didn't come to dinner."

"Nope," Sadie walks past him to sit on the edge of the bed. "We didn't feel like it."

"Lee was looking for you," he turns towards Darcy.

"Fuck him," she rolls over onto her side to face him. Sadie and Easton give each other a look of worry. "Guys... he's on Hays' side."

"Yeah, but it's a once in a lifetime chance!" Sadie exclaims, making Darcy roll her eyes.

"And? He agrees with Hays' ways."

"You don't know that. There could be a reason..." Sadie trails off moving her gaze to her hands resting on her lap.

"Enough of my mate problems. What about Hazel?" Darcy sits up, pulling a pillow into her lap .

"What about her? She's locked up like all ways."

"Nope! She's somewhere in Noah's pack at this point." Easton's eyes widen in shock. "The attack yesterday was a distraction."

"No wonder Ezra has been on edge so much."

"He's always on edge," Sadie pipes in.

"More than usual."

"Forget about him. What about this whole Hazel thing? Should we tell people?" Darcy asks.

"That'll cause a shit storm."

"Of course it will Easton, but isn't that the point. The whole reason everything is in order around here is because they are waiting for Hazel to act!" Darcy Exclaims. "We need to weaken his army."

"We could get killed."

"That's what I said!"

"Then we do it anonymously."
