I just wanna give you guys a quick recap of what happened in the original version that was discontined!

Peggy Schuyler was desperate for a job, after she was rejected by every by every veternarian in her area, she gave up and just went to her childhood bestfriend's bakery, luckily his parents let her work with them cause they thought they were still bestfriends, Now Peggy and John Laurens come a long way, The were the best of friends, they did everything together! Until Laurens went to France to study the art of baking, Peggy was happy for her friend but after a few letters Peggy was heartbroken, Why? Because she thought of John more than a friend, She liked him, After one letter mentioning a French girl named Rosé or something Peggy was crushed, she erased John from her life, poor Laurens didn't know what happened! He tried to talk to her but the only support he would get was from her cold shoulder, Now that they were working together they were FORCED to talk to each other, They hit it off right away you know? Old friend style, but John tried extremely hard to get Peggy to tell him why she stopped talking to him, Peggy's response was nowhere close to the question asked, after a few weeks off working together they were back bestfriends again, Peggy told John she was going to a party and taking tomorrow off, when John was closing the shop he heard Peggy on the phone...
