Stephen... John's POV

DINGGGGGGGGG! "UGH SHUT THE HELL UP ALARM!" I screamed at my clock "John dearie you're gonna be late!" My mom said from downstairs "Coming!" I said trying to be 'happy', I put on a sweater and tied my hair up normally, put on some ripped jeans and went downstairs to grab a snickers for breakfast "Laurens sweetheart the bus is here no time to check the instagram" my mom said trying to be cool "Yeah bye mom!" I said running to the bus, my friends were seated in their usual seats, Alex with Eliza, Laff and Herc playing games, Angelica with Jefferson and Theo wasn't with Peggy today, probally because of their fight, I then turned to the only empty seat next to Peggy "Hey! Can I seat here?" I asked smiling "Well if it isn't Mr. Laurens!" she said looking up from her phone "Ms. Schuyler! Great to seeya!" I said sitting down next to her "WHEN ARE YOU GONNA CHANGE YOUR NAME TO MRS. LAURENS PEGS?" Alex screamed at the top of his lungs "Shut it or I'll tell Eliza that you l-" I threatened him before getting cut off "Ok! Don't tell her!" he said pleading for mercy "Tell me what Alexander?" Eliza said confused, me and Peggy just looked at eachother trying to hold our laughter in, after a few minutes of silence I looked at her phone and asked "Whatcha doing?" "Just making a song for Eliza" she calmly said "Can I listen to it?" I asked getting intriuged "Yeah! Just don't tell Alexander" she said putting her earbuds in my ears, then the song started "Oooh I do I do I dooo, Heyy!" the song started playing "You taught Eliza to sing?" I asked giggling cause of how terribly she sang before "Took me a long- time" she sarcastically said with a smile "Ha! I'm guessing you wrote the song" I said guessing "Nope! Eliza wrote it, I made the tune and taught her singing!" she said going back to her phone, I managed to pull her into a conversation and we talked for extremely long, when the bus stopped everybody went down and we were the only people there "Let's ride-" she said with a cheerful voice then she saw 'him', Stephen Van Rensselaer,
Peggy's CRAZY ex, When we still hated eachother Peggy was dating Stephen, he seemed sweet at first but then Stephen got the idea that Peggy was going to leave him so he 'baby trapped' her, Stephen stopped using protection and when he found out she was taking birth control he went CRAZY he abused her for so long, convinced her to skip the pill, I tried to intervine but Peggy kept telling me to stay out of it because of what I did, Eventually Angelica whooped his ass and got him expelled, may I remind you at that time Peggy was 14, she was a teenager not ready to carry a baby, Steph  was in jail for 2 years and came back to work as a bus driver, I held Peggy close to me, I felt her shivering and getting sweating "I see Ms. Schuyler turned into MRS. Laurens huh?" Stephen as blocking the doorway for the bus "H-hi Stephen..." Peggy quietly said as she pulled me closer "John! Move I gotta talk to my girlfriend" Stephen stood up and grabbed Peggy wrist, I pulled her behind me "STEPHEN MOVE AWAY FROM HER!" I screamed as shielded Peggy "Oh- Mr. Laurens trying to protect his wife I see? MOVE FROM MY GIRL!" He raised his voice at me, I was ready to whoop his ass to London for Peggy, I know that this was a way to gain back her trust to tell me her secret! He pulled me out the bus where everyone was looking, Alexander and Eliza talking Angelica complaining and that's all I saw, suddenlly a fist came in my direction, I woke up to a Peggy screaming "LAURENS WAKE UP!" An Eliza freaking out and an Angelica giving Stephen a lecture "Don't you dare touch my sister ever again!" Angelica screamed in his face "I don't think so Mrs. Jefferson" Stephen teased her and punched her in the stomach, she fell down and Thomas went to go help her "ALRIGHT! You can mess with me all you want but don't you dare mess with my sisters" Peggy said with fury in her eyes, Peggy was a sweet girl, but she studied martial arts her entire life and was ready to kick Stephen uncautious "I'd like to see you tr-" Stephen said before getting cut off with a kick from Peggy, she grabbed his hand, twisted his arms and pushed his joint elbow, now his whole entire hand was numb, she did the same thing for the other side, Steph fell down to the ground and Peggy took her feet and stepped on his knees, she bent down and twisted Stephen's ankles, now his arms and legs were numb, she pulled him up and punched him in the throat, slapped his ugly face and tornado kicked him in the head "Now what lesson have you learned? That's right! Don't TOUCH my sisters or me, if you do I'll show you what I have to do for my test!" she threatened him, It was Eliza's turn to destroy him, she chose the power of words and sent Stephen crying, "Laurens! Are you ok!" Peggy asked me "Just a little bruise" I told her "You were awesome out there!" "Thanks" she quietly thanked me and a blush showed on her face "You didn't have to defend me!" Peggy said "I know but it was the least I could do after whatever I did!" I said "This is random but do you want a piggy back ride?" I asked her "This was a random question but here's a random answer! YES!" she told me and hopped on my back "Let's go!" she said.

The school day was normal, Peggy's main transportation method was me, I said my goodbye to her before driving to the bakery, Peggy was going to Theo's party today so I had to work alone.

It was 1 in the morning and I get a call from Angelica, I answered and heard a frantic voice "JOHN HAVE YOU SEEN PEGGY?" "What? no I thought she was at Theo's" I said rubbing my eyelids "She hasn't come back yet! I called her texted her but no reponse!" Angelica said while breathing in and out loudly "I'll try to call her" I said before hanging up, I dialed Peggy's number but she didn't pick up, I got really worried now and texted her, I waited a minute before getting a response

Where are you?

At Theo's I already told you!

Why didn't you answer Angelica's calls?

My phone died

I'm glad you're safe, next time give your sisters a heads up before they call me at 1 in the morning

Sorry! I'll come to work early today! Prepare to see a tired Peggy

Thank god she was safe, If she wasn't I'd probally be really guilty about leaving her.
