soon, ten o'clock rolled around and ashton had to go. he claimed he had "stuff do with rosalie", which made luke sad. though he would never share that with ashton.
two hours passed, luke was undeniably bored. he picked up his phone and called the first two people he could think of.
"michael? cal? can you come over, please?"
"sure, luke. it's not like i was busy on this fine day or whatever," calum's sarcasm leaked through the phone and luke rolled his eyes.
"it's ten at night, dipshit. mikey?"
"yeah, i'll be there. see you in like ten minutes," mikey hung up.
"be over here in ten, cal," luke smirked and clicked the end button, completely ignoring calum's protests on the other line.
ten minutes later, he was greeted by the two biggest ássholes luke has ever met. (sometimes, michael was okay.)
"s'up, my little gay boy," calum ruffled luke's now flat hair and michael chuckled from behind him.
"don't call me little gay boy, ásshole," luke glared at calum, causing him to laugh at how baby-like luke looked.
"you don't scare me, luke. nice try, little gay boy," calum says in a baby voice, punching luke's cheek.
since the trio had known each other since grade school, they've always known luke was gay. though he never admitted it, they knew. (calum said it was obvious, michael is "just that good".)
"i'm not gay."
michael rolled his eyes and slapped the back of luke's head. "you're such a bullshitter. we know you like dïck and that you want ashton's. you're not fooling anyone."
"even if i was gay, which i'm not, i'd never admit it to you guys. you'd probably hate me," luke shrugged.
"bro, we wouldn't hate you. we've been here ever since we knew you were gay in like the fifth grade," calum plopped down on the couch beside luke.
"okay, then you'd kick me in the balls 'cause you think i'm hitting on you or something," luke frowned and sunk in his seat.
michael scoffed. "if i'm going to kick you in the balls, it won't be because you hit on me. it'll be because you didn't hit on ashton."
"what's your deal about ashton and i? i don't even like him."
now it was calum's turn to scoff. "let me see your phone."
luke scrunched up his eyebrows and dug in his pocket for his phone. he handed it to calum even though he was still confused what he wanted with it.
calum unlocked it and scrolled through his contacts and pictures, muttering incoherent words under his breath.
"well, you have over a thousand photos on your camera roll," calum started, "that are all filled with ashton."
luke's eyes went wide and snatched his phone, earning a few laughs from the other two boys.
"his contact name also has the church with heart emoji, an arrow through a heart emoji, a star emoji, a kn-"
"enough!" luke shouted. he was blushing like crazy at this point and it reminded him of the earlier thoughts he had.
