You watched in curiosity as the tall girl stuck something into her arm. You all then watched in shock as yellow lightning came from her. You terrified as she became one of the creatures your father hunted.
"You wanted me to meet people that can turn into those things?!" You asked in alarm, horrified at the prospect of having something like that attack you. Thankfully the sounds of the transformation prevented you from being heard by the humans below.
"Igneel. Take Y/N and wait outside for me. Now!" Igneel didn't hesitate. Sprouting his wings he kept one hand clamped on your mouth as the other wrapped around you, flying away in a rush. Acnologia watched the Titan. What was it doing?
He quietly leapt to a new pillar, one off to the side so he could see the happenings in front of him properly. He watched in shock as the Titan walked up to the man that was chained, presumably the girls family in some way, and ate him.
Acnologia was surprised. Not by this, he'd seen families rip each other apart before just to survive the north. But by the fact these so far docile humans displayed one of the cornerstones of draconic culture.
Acnologia remained silent as the girls Titan fell. it's evaporating body gave way to reveal her in the nape as her family rushed up. Acnologia watched them pull her free, seeing her eyes aglow with forced beyond his knowledge. Acnologia leapt backwards, summoning his own wings he flew after you and Igneel, who were hiding in the same brush you had been before you entered the chapel.
"She turned into one of those monsters and ate one of her family? What for?" Igneel asked, keeping a hold of you. As if he needed to be ready to protect you at any moment. "I have no idea. Either way, we keep an eye on that family." Acnologia told you both.
"How do you propose we do that?" Igneel asked, picking you up to hold you. "We get close to them. What else?" You looked at Acnologia. "Why do we need to?" You asked. "We need someone to guide us through their world until we know what we're doing." You nodded to yourself, looking at the door. "Their coming back out."
Acnologia looked at them. "Let's go say hi." He ruffled your hair and Igneel's before pulling you on to the road. "Follow my lead." He muttered to you both."Hello there." The Reiss family stopped, turning to see three ragged looking males. "Um, I'm sorry to interrupt you all, but my sons and I are quite lost. Would you mind helping us?"
The oldest, most likely the father, said. Rod stepped forward, being the head of the family after all. "What can we do to help you folks." Acnologia looked into Rods eyes. "We have no home, and we're perhaps wondering if you could shelter us for the night?"
Your childish intuition realized Acnologia was trying to gain pity for you three so the family would take you to their home. "Daddy? Do we have to sleep in the trees again? I don't like it there, it's dark and cold and so scary." You whimpered. Rod looked at you pitifully. "There is no need. We can give you beds for the night. From there we can discuss things."
