Chapter 39: Broken

~Allison~

It's 3 in the morning and I can't sleep. I feel like I had my heart ripped out and stomped on.

Bored out of my mind, I go for a walk. Through the halls of the boring old hospital. I see a big window with someone looking out.

"Hello?" I ask scaring the boy. He had short brown hair and greenish eyes. He had a blue shirt on with a pair of black jeans and black converses. He looked about my age and might I say he's really cute.

"H-hi" He stutters.

"I'm sorry. Didn't mean to scare you. I'm Allison." I say sticking my hand out for him to shake.

"Hunter." He respond taking my hand. "What are you doing up so late?"

"I could ask you the same question."

"I asked you first."

"Break up. Can't sleep. Your go."

"Girlfriend died. Can't sleep."

"That's harsh."

"Ya. What brings you to the hospital."

"Long story."

"Its 3 in the morning. I got time."

I chuckle a bit at his response. "Well my mum had a baby and my dad posted a picture on insta that said that they where finally a family. I wasn't in the picture so when I saw it I thought that he didn't think of me as part of the family. So I called him out for it and drove away. I went to my ex boyfriends mums house and she gave me a huge speech about how this baby needed me so I decide to return home. About 10-15 minutes out of town I driver swerved in front of me and hit. Car flipped, I flew out a window and everything from then on is a blur. I was out for a week or so." I explain taken a seat next to him. He nods.

"What about you?"

"What about me?"

"Your girlfriend died shouldn't you be at home morning not at the hospital? What else happend?"

"Smart girl. My girlfriend died 2 weeks ago. I loved her a lot and when she died I attempted suicide. I didn't want to live without her."

"That makes more sense."

We talk for another 30 minutes then Louis came out looking all worried.

"Allison Tomlinson! I was worried sick." He says.

"Dad. Its only been like an hour. I'm fine. Plus its a hospital. I don't think I can really go anywhere. I'm in here for a reason. You made sure there where body guards at the hall doors to make sure I don't leave and no one comes and takes me." I say.

"Whatever. C'mon. You need to sleep. Lots of testing tomorrow." He says.

I sigh. "Bye Hunter." I say getting out of my chair.

"Bye Allison."

I follow my dad back into my room and go to sleep.
