Mark was the one yelling down the hall.
He ran to me.
"WTH happened? Herin is a nice girl so what did you do?" he said in a serious tone
"That herin girl is nice?? She's the one that RUDELY told me to leave her seat and as I was moving, SHE ROLLED HER EYES AT ME. That's not even it. She then cut me off and later LASHED OUT AT ME. Just watch the videos... after this you're still saying she's nice?!?!"
He watched the video and of course was shocked.
"I think you misunderstood each other."
"Mark, she said all this and you still want me to believe we misunderstood?! I can't believe you.."
I walked away disappointed. Does he not realize what she said? It did truly hurt.. it hurts even more that he's siding with her.
There is no freaking way that the video is proving she's nice. It's as if he's been brainwashed.
Mark pov
I've known Herin longer than soomin. Yes soomin is technically my boss now. lee soo man has kept her hidden so naturally I'm closer to herin.
Although it might've been my mistake to side with herin. Clearly I hurt her yet I'm so dumb..
"Mark oppaaaaaa. You're on my side right?" Herin asked me trying to act cute.
I don't know why but I'm kind of disgusted. Low key she just looks desperate.
"Uhh sure."
"AYO MARK. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU."
The rest of dream came and dragged me away.
"Clearly soomin was innocent and Herin was showing such animosity." Jaemin said.
"Yeah, why are you siding with Herin." Chenle asked.
"We may have known Herin first but you don't know half the things she's done. She's trying to kiss up to you and why can't you see that." Jeno implied.
"I'm so dumb....."
"Yes, yes you are" they said in unison.
I ran to find soomin. It's my fault. I was wrong. Forgive me soomin, I need you... (I need you girl~)
Soomin pov
I found myself on the rooftop. Class should be starting soon but who cares...
I'm too depressed to see anyone.
The company is already making me so stressed and now this?
When can I take a break.. when can I enjoy life.. when can I be happy....
*BANG* the door burst open.
"Mark?! What are you doing here? Class started."
"The same can be said about you.. Soomin. I know I was wrong. No matter what I'll be on your side. Please forgive me. I'm so dumb to believe that stupid Herin."
"It's okay mark. I'm just too stressed. My mind is never at ease."
He hugged me.
"We will help you. The dream team will always be there for you. (We're pretending Mark is still in dream:)"
"Thank you."
We skipped a period but it's now lunch.
At our usual table, everything is normal.
Until that Herin girl suddenly sits next to mark. I'm sitting next to haechan across from them.
"Mark oppaaaa, will you come sit at our table instead."
"Now why would I do that?" 🙄
"Becauseeeeeee"
"Sorry Herin, I'm fine sitting with my friends here. Byee"
"Serves her right." He said once she left.
We all laughed.
Our table was joyful once again. I hope we stay this way..
