3rd POV
For the past 10 minutes, Kirishima has been training with kai. For the first 10 minutes of it, he was struggling to keep up with her speed. Sooner or later, he adjusted, using more surprise attacks and predicting her moves.
He landed a few punches on her with his hardened fists, but she seemed unharmed. Normally a person would get bruises or at least be in slight pain, but not her. She was indifferent to his punches.
Kirishima predicted her next move. She would appear to his right side right... Now!
He turned to the right, looking at her dead in the eye. She swung her fist, aiming for his jaw. He blocked it with his hardened left arm. Her arm slid across the sharp edges of his hardened arm.
He felt how hard she had skid her arm and he mentally winced for her. She would have to visit recovery girl for the scratches she was bound to get.
Once her punch was blocked, she was left open. He used this to his advantage with his fist aiming for her jaw. He successfully punched her right in the jaw causing her to skid back a few feet.
She stumbled as she slid across the grassy field. She fell on her butt, dizzy.
Oh shit. "Kai! Are you ok! I'm sorry I should have held back on that punch" Kirishima frantically ran over to her, worried.
"Nah, it's all good. We're just training." Kai said, looking at him with a smile. There was only a slight red tint on her jaw where she was hit and that comforted him because it meant that it dint to too much damage. She also had no struggle speaking which was a good sign too.
"Are you really ok?" He asked. "I'm sure your arm is torn up too." He said offering her a hand.
"Why would it be?" Kai wondered, confused as she grabbed the hand he offered.
He lifted her up, looking at her arm that skid across his arm. It wasn't damaged at all. He grabbed her arm in confusion, inspecting it.
"Oh, you mean when you-" She finally understood what he meant. "Oh yeah. My skin is immune to most sharp objects and stuff." Kai simply said, shrugging her shoulders.
"Really? That means you're like me!" Kirishima shouted excitedly. Kai only chuckled at him. "By the way, your super light." He noted.
"Really?" She wondered. She understood why he would say that. She was on the skinnier side and she barely ever eats thanks to being a ghoul.
Kirishima chuckled, "Yup. I'm kinda surprised because your super-strong meaning you should probably weigh more. Is that a part of your quirk?" He asked.
"I guess you can say that." She shrugged. She then smirked with a plan in mind.
Kirishima started talking about food which was annoying, so she executed her plan. As they were walking towards the lunch area, she walked slightly behind him.
She then ran towards his back, jumping in the air. "HUG ATTACK!" She smiled.
Kirishima who was very confused, slightly turning his head back. He saw Kai jumping toward him. He smiled at her childishness, simply bracing himself.
She clung onto him like a backpack. "You know you could have just told me rather than attacking, right?" He chuckled, securing her, so she doesn't fall.
"What's the fun in that?" She playfully asked. "Onwards my noble steed!" Kai shouted, pointing ahead of them.
"Oink." He smiled.
"Noble steeds don't go oink." She protested.
"Whatever do you mean?" He asked in a British accent.
"They go..." Kai paused for a moment, thinking about what sound it makes. "What does it say?" She wondered.
"What does what say?" He asked as he mindlessly walked around the field.
"What does the fox say?" Their faces both lit up in pure childish joy as they screamed, "DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DINGDINGDINGDING!"
Kirishima ran through the lunch area as they screamed. "WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY!?" Kai yelled, gaining the attention of practically everyone in the lunch harbor. "WA-PA-PA-PA-PA-PA-POW!" Kirishima yelled along with a few others who were a bit more quiet about it.
Kai jumped off his back and onto the table and screamed, "WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY!?"
"HATI-HATI-HATI-HO!" Kirishima yelled, jumping up and down, motioning for the others in the lunch area to join in before the teachers catch them.
"Hati-hati-hati-ho." A few students said in a normal voice, worried about getting in trouble, but it looked so fun.
"Hati-hati-hati-ho!" Two students who seemed to be best friends shouted together, encouraging the rest to join. If they did it then why not the rest?
Kai smiled at the growing participation and cupped her hands around her mouth to be louder, "ONE MORE TIME! WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY?!"
"DING DING DING RING DING DA DING!" Half of the lunch area sang at the top of their lungs while the other half left, not wanting to get caught or watched, laughing.
"WHAT THE FOX SAY?!" Kai yelled, jumping on the table.
"HATI-HATI-HATI-HO!" The students in the lunch area formed a mob in the center of the outside lunch area. "HATI-HATI-HATI-HO!" They sang, jumping up and down.
Suddenly, a blast of noise was heard on large speakers that appeared out of nowhere. It was the song.
All the students sang and danced, hyped up over the mystery of what the fox says.
Teachers quickly caught on to what was happening, considering there was a MOB at UA. Midnight quickly appeared on the scene. Just as she was about to use her quirk on all the students that were screeching, she felt a tap on her leg.
"Leave them be." Principal Nedzu said, watching the students sing with wide smiles on their faces.
"But Nedzu they're-" Midnight tried to convince him otherwise.
"I learned something today, Midnight," Nedzu said, watching Kai, who started the riot, jump on the table with a proud smile. "All of these students are giving it their all every day in order to become a hero, but sometimes we forget that they are still children. This will be good for them."
Midnight was slightly shocked at this. She forgot too. They were still children. As mature and smart they all are, they are kids who should take the time to have fun.
"We're still going to punish whoever did this though, right?"
"Of course." Nedzu sweatdropped at the question.
