Throughout the two weeks before the sports festival, my classmates were giving it their all into training. Me on the other hand, I wasn't doing much. I went to work, slept, pranked Shigaraki, the usual.
Oh yeah. I've also been training Shinso in combat and other stuff like stamina. I really want him to get into 1A and I think I can make an opening by tattling on a certain pervert...
"Kai! Pay attention in class!" President Mic yelled.
He's so annoying. I just wanna sleep back at the base.
"I'm sorry president Mic," I said in an apologetic tone as I gave him my attention. I smirked as I chose my next words, "I just cant pay attention when there's a screaming ape in the room."
His face turned to one of pure confusion as he asked, "What screaming-" He stopped, his eyes widening. Snickers were heard throughout the class, "You get detention!" He screamed.
Dammit. I thought he would send me to the principal office where I can just ditch the moment I'm out of the room. How annoying.
-After school-
I hate detention. It's so boring. I have to sit here for hours! There's no one else here either. It's just me and Aizawa who is taking a nap on his desk.
Maybe I can sneak out of here since he is sleeping...
I eyed Aizawa wearily as I slowly tried to stand up. I wasn't even an inch out of my desk when his eyes snapped open, glowing red with his scarf and hair floating around him eerily.
I plopped back down, knowing that be would catch me or give me another detention slip.
CRASH
BAM
SHATTER
"GO TO DETENTION ALREADY!!!!" A teachers voice blared as I heard running footsteps approaching.
The door slammed open, revealing a girl with pink dreadlocks who was covered in ash and a few glass shards.
"Good afternoon folks!" She smiled at us.
"Go take a seat and keep the noise down," Aizawa grumbled, sinking deeper into his sleeping bag.
"YesSir!" She saluted with a chirpy voice.
"So did you destroy the place?" I asked as she took a seat.
"Yup! Blew up the invention room and half of the hallway." She said pridefully.
"Nice." I smiled. "How did you do it?"
"Oh was charging up one of my new babies." She explained.
"What's your baby?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. I highly doubt she is a mom and people don't electrically charge up a kid. She is also in the support department so she may be talking about an invention, but 'baby' is an odd name for an invention.
"I was making a battery that can support the electricity of multiple car batteries." Her eyes sparkled as she talked about her invention. "The trick is that it's going to be the size of a AA battery."
"Woah... That's going to be amazing once you finish it. I'm sure the electric quirk users will find it very helpful."
"Yup! I just have to get a controlled room where I can blast the car batteries, so my baby can absorb all the electricity at once then I'm sure it will work!" She cheered.
"So you tried that and everything exploded," I smirked.
"Yes." She said with no hint of regret. "I never got your name. Did I?"
"Kai" I simply replied.
"Mei Hatsume. You can call me Mei." She held out her gloved hand. I took it, shaking it with a smile on my face.
For the rest of detention, we talked about things like the sports festival, her old inventions, hobbies, quirks, brainstorming new inventions and other random stuff. She is a REALLY energetic girl but she is super nice.
I'm looking forward to seeing her in action during the sports festival.

I took my time walking back to the base. Today had been a long day.It was around 5 in the afternoon. The sun was slowly going down causing the sky to glow in dark orange shades.
The worn-down buildings cast looming shadows over the streets, making it darker than it was. Trash was littered everywhere and the scent of blood, dirt, and gas wafted in the air.
As I came to the familiar alleyway I take every time I go back to the base, I saw a figure sitting on a dumpster. The shadows hid his face while the orange sun behind the figure seemingly made him glow red.
I know this person...
"Yo," He greeted with a small wave.
"What's up, Stain?" I asked, walking over to him, placing my hands in my pockets.
He was one of my first friends here after I met Shinso and the league. Most people would run away from him at first sight because of his bloodshot eyes, hunched over eerie figure and the fact that he carries several dozen knives in plain sight. When you look past that he is a pretty nice guy who is set on his morals.
I honestly agree with his morals. Most heros are messed up. Some of them even are my clients who pay me to kill. I'm honestly glad that someone is doing something about the messed-up society. The only reason I'm not joining him and his cause is because I don't have the time or energy to go with him. I'm busy with the league, work, and school. I honestly don't need more on my plate right now.
"Not much. Just chilling." He sighed tiredly.
"Long day?" I ask him.
"You bet. I got chased by 15 heros. I had to kill half of them and I paralyzed the rest. So annoying. Society doesn't know what's good for them."
"Harsh. I'm just exhausted of life right now. It's not like I wanna die or anything. I just want to go hide in my room and sleep for 48 hours." I laughed tiredly.
He fondly smiled in agreement. "Life just won't let us catch a break." He chuckled.
We've both had our fair share of problems and punches life had thrown at us. That's the thing with Villians like us. The world doesn't accept you, so the world hates you. It's not like you haven't done anything wrong, yet society just hates you.
The only way I live is by eating humans. Is it wrong to have a meal? I think not, but society disagrees so they labeled me as a villain.
Stain tried to change peoples views and morals by preaching in the streets. He wasn't preaching about how Satan should be our only god or anything and that everyone who disagrees should go stab themselves in a slow and painful death. He was trying to tell people that heros should be more focused on helping others. He was trying to help the people, but the public disagreed and ignored his advise. They labeled him as a villain.
We didn't do anything wrong until we were labeled as villain.
